PointFivePast Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Meh, I'll wait for them to come up on a 24:24 1
polarbear Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 How much for just the cigars? They can keep the fancy box
spizz Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Prez, is there any chance of us seeing a humidor or two of Majestuoso 1966 come through? A 50th anniversary cigar which you don't have to have generational wealth to get ahold of. I'm sure there's Cohiba fanatics who would be willing to shell out the coin to get ahold of a these maybe? I would also be interested, depending on price. Love the old school design of the humidor.
BonVivant Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Majestuoso Humidors 1966 are available in LCDHs in Germany right now- cheap? - go for it folks - "batteries not included" - HSA wins again

Ryan Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I dont think it will be sold for 3150 Euros Imagine thousands of "rich" smokers who cant afford the big humi and must have one small (to smoke or to show off). They are different cigars. The big humidor has 50 Grandiosos, 178mm X 60 The smaller humidors have 20 Majestuosos, 150mm X 58 I have also seen that number (3,150 euro) somewhere as the German price for the Majestuosos.
TomF Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 I have a gut feel that minimum will not get close I think you have to discount that they are cigars at all. Buyers will see it as a piece of art, a collectable (perhaps). I have mates who will drop that on a painting or piece of abstract modern art with little thought. This to me is in the same realm if you view it through those glasses. I am not in that realm nor own those glasses If the humidor had been designed by Basquiat or Andy Warhol then maybe I could see it that way...

Sure, different but I dont think the ones who will buy them care about it.

About same production numbers as Bushidos so I guess we should assume about same price then huh? Hahahahaha! I would expect something more like the Antique Humidor Series, based off of a preorder I saw. So, something more like $5000 for the 1966... However, it is for only 20 cigars instead of 50. Please delete if I broke any rules.
luv2fly Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 Just so happens I received an email this morning from the former chairman of the bank of Nigeria offering me $20 million. I'll put my order in when the $20 mill arrives Cheers I got that same email! Fingers crossed......"come on big money, no whammies!"
Coloniales Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 I was with Simon Chase yesterday and a few others, we were having a great laugh about the distributor bidding process.... ******* hilarious. Keith. 1
cigcars Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Really!? Just 1100+ Euros apiece! No problem. Just let me get out my cheque book here and stretch some of the rubber out of it....* 1
