HarveyBoulevard Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 Curious if anyone has gotten their hands on these and/or have some thoughts and comments on them. I love most anything LGC and I love the Caribbean so I have a few on the way. I have not bought any boxes of ELs but I do buy the occasional box of ER if they are a marca or a region I like. The below is courtesy of www.cubancigarwebsite.com 2014 - Edición Regional Caribe Regional Edition Series Paraiso Edmundo 52 x 135 (5.3") Robusto Edmundo - a new special release size. History: Released mid-2015. Also, while I am at it...any word on these? (OTHER THAN THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE YET ) 2015 - Edición Regional Asia Pacifico Regional Edition Series Revolution Montesco 55 x 130 (5.1") Robusto Montesco - a new special release size. Bartolomeo Posted January 22, 2016 Posted January 22, 2016 I enjoy them, not really any LGC DNA, very wrapper dependent on the ones I have smoked so far, like the Picadores, their wrappers have been from green to maduro like and everything in between Worth grabbing a fiver to try IMHO 1
Lotusguy Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Had one. Was a nice cigar that had nothing to do with LGC except the name. Is it worth the asking price from the sources I have seen? Heck no. 3
finecigar Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I have been wondering the same. Have not tried one yet but being an avid LGC fan for the flavor profile I don't think I will try for the price. I'd rather just grab another box of MdO 2 as those are always a must in the humidor. 1
cookj1 Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 Compared to the other posts here, I thought these were dynamite. They flat out knocked this out of the park. I’d argue this was one of the better regionals. I wish I had bought more but the regional program is such a gamble. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad regional, it’s just that the price/value ratio can be questionable and extremely subjective. 1
Bram Smoker Posted November 9, 2018 Posted November 9, 2018 I am in full agreement. I think setting these down for a few years has done them a lot of good. Really a top notch smoke that I am finding to be one of my go-to cigars in the last half year.
cookj1 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 These are all over Aruba right now. In fact, the hotels are even selling them. I’d buy a few boxes if I didn’t have my duty free allowance waiting for me in NYC for my return home. It kills me that I can’t buy a few boxes right now.
Cayman17 Posted November 17, 2018 Posted November 17, 2018 The first one I tried out of a box purchased in the Caribbean was terrible. Tasted like cardboard. Hoping it was just a dud and the rest will be better.
