eswary Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Just read a tidbit on a upcoming release from Partagas. It's safe to say I am a fan of all things Partagas, but have yet to sample any of the newer Anejados cigars. Was wondering if anyone wanted to share their opinions on the release, Anejados in general, and or thoughts what we should expect from this cigar. The size is in my wheelhouse, I'm interested. Thanks in advance for any thoughts on the topic. Eric Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
luv2fly Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I do love Partagas but this may be out of my $ wheel house. If you smoke one, please let us know your thoughts.
Popular Post maxcjs0101 Posted January 20, 2016 Popular Post Posted January 20, 2016 No offence but i think the Anejados program by Habanos SA is just another way to rip others buy adding a second band + a revisado stamp. Personally for that amount of money, id spent them on Lusitanias or 898s. 5
PapaDisco Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 I'm very pleased with the Monte Churchill Anejados ('08) that I got here. Smooth and full of flavor, they've been such a pleasure that I will readily look at any of the other anejados coming down the road. 1
NSXCIGAR Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Not sold on the Anejado program either. Big time price premium that I personally feel isn't justified by the reviews I've read. Lots of inconsistency and debate surrounding the integrity of the program as well. But as always, all I care about is how do they smoke? If they're great, they've got my money. If not, business as usual for HSA.
Fugu Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 No, please not! Another one already? Really starts going overboard, HSA. Pls bring back SdC.... (well, yes, I know...)
sengjc Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 There is a Hoyo de Monterrey Anejados release? Where have I been...
Cohiba Stevie Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 A partagas corona gorda???? Im dubious to say the least. 1
irratebass Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Curious about this and the Uppman that's coming.
RijkdeGooier Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Interesting program. Releasing non-existent vitolas as Anejados. Maybe rejected Serie D?

I'll keep myself open to sampling other Anejados releases in the future. I didn't sample the Romeo y Julieta Anejados Piramide cigar released in late 2014 though. 1

I've not tried any, but I think the reviews for the Monte were generally very good across the board. I just don't personally feel the reviews are good enough to justify the very high price. And as I noted above, who really knows whether they're Montecristos or aged, or what?
eswary Posted January 21, 2016 Author Posted January 21, 2016 Thanks for the input gents, appreciate the insight. Happy smokin! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Cohiba Stevie Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 Interesting program. Releasing non-existent vitolas as Anejados. Maybe rejected Serie D? Not thick enough to be a serie d... My thoughts is that this cigar started its life destined to be in another box without the partagas logo... And then the mystifying influence of the anejado program came along. 1
Cohiba Stevie Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I stand corrected.... There was a serie d no.3 LE back in 2006 Learn something new everyday
RijkdeGooier Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 I stand corrected.... There was a serie d no.3 LE back in 2006 Learn something new everyday And in 2001

ThuringiaSmoker Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 German Dealers are like "Whoooooo... Great... Buy!!" In Forums there is a Range from "meh" to "really good but not great (yet)
Hoepssa Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Never a fan of REVISADO. Ugly worths more than plastic beauty if they have beauty hearts
earthson Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Interesting program. Releasing non-existent vitolas as Anejados. Maybe rejected Serie D? A-f'n-greed! Who ever heard of a Partagas CG from the mid 00s!?
El Presidente Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 I look forward to trying them. I don't have overly high expectations but as always I am happy to be surprised. One for the video reviews when they land. 1
Homebrew Posted February 19, 2016 Posted February 19, 2016 Hell, If they are good, I will be all over them at that price point. One of my favorite Vitolas, in Partagas. Only thing that would be better, is the rerelease of Bolivar CE, in 50 count cabs. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew) P.S. I have recently come over on Partagas, when some sticks I bought early in my foray into cuban cigars, got enough age to make me say WOW!
