mk05 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 I remember looking on social media and taking notes as people exclaimed how the Monte Anejado were classic Montecristo. Most still do, unfortunately. IIRC, AML06/07 was a lot of ERDM CS and VR Famosos. 2 cigars of Hermosos #4 size that didn't (and don't) sell. Enjoy!
RijkdeGooier Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 According to friends these were unimpressive. They only smoked one though. Btw we all know what revisado originally stood for. Sorry Nino, wasn't sure you were going to comment?
Nino Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Smoked one out of curiosity today, a friend with me also had one - we both agreed these were awful. Disappointing smoke and, to my subjctive opinion just hot air with no aromas or strength.Confirmed my opinion of the Añejado line so far ... 3
Vortigan Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I'm another that's just not buying this whole Añejado thing, both intellectually and literally.

Olga Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 I don't understand why the Anejado is so bad. Aren't they supposed to be aged?
BonVivant Posted January 24, 2016 Posted January 24, 2016 Remember RA898 Alemania (Germany)? In five- six years those are going to be Partagas 898 Anejados
Ryan Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Why would unbanded sticks be sitting in any boxes? Could it be they have to be debanded before being rebanded and boxed? This doesn't have anything to do with the Anejados release but cigars generally go to the banding station already colour-sorted and boxed. The person applying the bands takes them out one by one, applies the bands and puts them back in the box. Here are Behikes being banded in El Laguito for example.

Behike_Banding.jpg What kind of band is that at the top of that roll? I'm assuming a diplomatic band for a king of some country?
NSXCIGAR Posted February 28, 2016 Posted February 28, 2016 I don't understand why the Anejado is so bad. Aren't they supposed to be aged? Sure they are... Looks like Ajay Patel's video review of these is up and he doesn't exactly rave about them. Complains of an odd bitter taste in the final third but he does seem to think they have HdM DNA. Please, nobody fall for this HSA scam. Spend your money on good regular production, not overpriced mystery meat.

Shikar Posted March 10, 2016 Posted March 10, 2016 It will be interesting to read/see Prez review of these.....I am not expecting anything good..... Regards.
JohnS Posted March 11, 2016 Posted March 11, 2016 I love it how Ken never leaves you wondering if he likes a cigar or not, and similarly, I get a 'special feeling' inside when Rob discusses Habanos S.A. in his reviews!
