ElAbogado Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 If you were stranded on an island, but could have with you an unlimited supply of ONE cigar (individual cigar, not an entire marca) which would it be? And what are the characteristics about the cigar that led you to choose it over all others?

CaptainQuintero Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Regular production, PLPC. It never lets you down, sweet dark syrup, toasty, just great. You can use the cabs as bricks for building you hut too! 4
aliz388 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Mine would be trinidad fundy. love the flavour, can smoke it at anytime of the day and it lasts a while; since id have a lot of time to kill on the island id like a long smoke! 1
ElAbogado Posted October 7, 2015 Author Posted October 7, 2015 Lot of love for PLPC, I need to revisit them... I think mine would be an H. Upmann Sir Winston. A nice long cigar (plenty of time to kill) and all my favorite Upmann flavors... Upmann being one of my favorite marcas.
foursite12 Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Boredom would be the enemy. No matter how good a cigar is, the challenge would be to keep it interesting cigar after cigar. The CORO is a fascinating smoke, with so much complexity, that it would have to be my choice.
... Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 If it came to that, I'm sure many cigars would work for me. RyJ churchill or Montecristo especial are the first to come to mind...
Popular Post Colt45 Posted October 7, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2015 Probably this one - hollow it out, seal it with tree sap, make a paddle, and use it as a boat to get off the island. Next thing you know, BAM! Back to the land of the un-dead.... If not, Backwoods Honey Berry. 5
Jeremy Festa Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Is the island in the tropics, sub-tropics or temperate zone? And, is it sandy or rocky? Also, is there decent, developed flora and fauna or is the island fairly barren? 2
Fuzz AI Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Des Dieux. More important question, who do you choose to be on the island with you, Ginger or Mary Ann? 3
HarveyBoulevard Posted October 7, 2015 Posted October 7, 2015 Easy...Mary Ann. LGC Tainos for the island cigar. 2
... Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 And if you had the choice of a single alcoholic beverage to accompany the cigar, what would it be?
MIKA27 Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 VR Unicos for me with a nice single Malt Scotch. I'm not fussy, I'd like anything Glenlivett 15yo and upward
ElAbogado Posted October 8, 2015 Author Posted October 8, 2015 Tropical Island. Sandy, but with vegetation - palm trees and the like. I like the addition of one drink... keeping it real I'd go with drinkable water or Gatorade to stay hydrated/alive haha, but assuming the island could provide me with basic sustenance I think I'd go with something like a Jameson Gold Reserve or Midleton Rare.
CigSid Posted October 8, 2015 Posted October 8, 2015 PSD1's They are the best LE on the planet, and one of the best cigars to come out of Cuba. Rich, creamy and complex. One of the best finishes, that lasts a while.
