Seems like there is a time for everything, presuming the construction isn't horrible. Certainly some sticks need some time, but never really disliked anything so much I wouldn't smoke it again sometime. 1

I'd say Dip 2's are the only cigars that haven't wowed me yet however the older my box gets I start to see something more that I like each time I have one. 2

I know as cigars age, their profile and nuances can become more balanced and develope, but you have to consider the development of your own palate as well. My own tastes have certainly changed since I started in this hobby 8 years ago. If you'd handed me a Padron anniversary line right off the get-go i'd have probably thrown up and quit then and there lol!!!

I've had only 2 that were cigars I'd ever smoke again even if they were priced in line with their competitors, but definitely not at 1.5-2x the price of others. No need for much age. A year is enough. More gets a touch too much cedar. I find them richer than the standard boxes. 1
