The cigar that you consistently pick when doing yard work, tinkering in the garage, fishing on the beach/bank, setting up the tent camping etc etc.

Mine is generally a Mag 46 or Boli Petit Corona. if it is going to be a little risky (possibility of the cigar getting wet/damaged) then a Quintero Favorito gets a call up.

Well, aside from the others fishing is a completely different ballgame.

Yard gars to me are those for which no attention is required. Fishing cigars are usually more special.

Don't have any specific ones either way....

Quintero Brevas. Thin enough to keep between the teeth while mowing the lawn. Last long enough to finish at least the front yard. Usually burns fine until all that's left is an inch of rapidly unraveling shredded tobacco. Quite resistant to spit and slobber. Cheap.

Wilkey

Cohiba Sublime.

I hate yard work. I hate that cigar. Perfect match so I avoid both.

Regards.

HU Majestics or Partagas Aristocrats, thin enough as to not get a sore jaw from holding it in the mouth while working and still for cheap cigars the lineage is evident.

Party Shorts.

Or if it is looking really risky (ie. refuelling the car or changing bbq gas bottles), then one that tastes good cold!

Agree with you on this, I definitely don't smoke yard gars as I consider that a special event, especially when I catch a nice fish :).

For yard work, I don't smoke a yard gar per say---I usually smoke a HUHC. Seems to work fine for me while pushing the mower.

Quintero brevas, JLP cazi

I like all the minutos ps, bcj, rascc, scp but I respect them more and sit down and pay attention to them all the time.

I used to smoke RG coronas extra and SP Molinos when gardening but since their discontinuations I tend now to hoard them. A good replacement (for me at least) is the ERDM Choix suprême.

I always leave my cigar time until I can put my feet up after any work has been done but generally any pc will do under these circumstances and especially at the park where I can let my Lab run crazy and I can just relax with a short cigar, chuck a ball and watch her swim in the creek.
