I can't beleive there are international members that think they are paying top dollar for cubans, have a look on the thread above to get an idea of what we pay in Oz. $25-$30 for a run of the mill, and thats only if you buy by the box.

I think I'm happy to pay up to $50 a stick and then really appreciate it. If I splurg then it is on a Behike and it is in the $100 range as it is usually a single from the local.

It's all subjective. I have my 'go to' cigars and my 'celebration' cigars and what I'm prepared to spend differs on each. I'm currently weighing up get a few more 'celebration' type cigars which will set me back a little over $AU50 each.

In my opinion it's a trick question. I was born in 1994 and I'd love to own the 1994 humidor. I know one day that could set me back 100k if not more. I've already started saving to say the least. Smoking cigars is about the experience, and you can't put a price tag on a magical experience imho.

Now I will give a try for Ramon 225 at price of 25 UK Pound a pop then wait for Ramon 898 from ER German.

How much is too much? However much you can not afford.

So far my highest has been $25-$30 USD. I think that if I ever found myself in a shop selling cuban singles I'd splurge up to $40-$50 on a limited run or rare cigar.

At FOH USD pricing I generally top out around $15. Can't really think of a >$15 stick at the afore mentioned price structure that I've tried.

Was really tempted by the recent MUO Espys, at $679ish, that were offered on 24:24 but the the price tag put me down. Perhaps I would see god if I indulged, but for now ignorance is bliss- subject to change with scratch ticket results.

Spent hundreds on many single pre embargo sticks, not always worth it but sometimes can be. Surely not an everyday thing though. Clear Havanas I find more reasonable in pricing and equally as successful at times.

On a regular week basis I am normally not going to be buying or smoking a $30+ cigar. There are a lot of great cigars I've from boxes that are $15-20 a stick I regularly enjoy, and at the same time there's wonderful $5-10 sticks, and under $5 sticks! Some days I smoke and love cheap cigars, Cuban or not. From my cigar journey there is no price/limit (besides my budget, of course) for an experience- I find this especially true when savoring aged and vintage cigars...blends of the past. Surely there are many factors to consider but even with a limited budget you can diversify your collection with a small handful of special occasion cigars "expensive", mid grade selections, day to day, and cheap/cheerful anytime of the day smokes.

Specifically, the most EVER for me was a $300+ Dunhill Havana Club, definitely an experience of a lifetime.

This is really subjective. I once paid fitty bucks for a cigar. While it was good it was not fitty bucks good. :lol3:

I find that for me, there is a reverse correlation. As the price goes up my ROI goes down. Frankly, I am happy with this. Satisfied in the knowledge that I am getting what I pay for.

"The worlds most expensive cigar". "At a price of $1000 per stick, "His Majesty's Reserve" is the most expensive cigar in the world. Gurkha Chief Executive Officer Kaizad Hansotia says the "HMR" is enjoyed by Bill Clinton and Matthew McConaughey."

I hope they're kidding. Gurkha ???? Bill Clinton ????? Matthew McConaughey ??????? . Since when ??? and So ? ,

That Is no proof of a good cigar.liar.gif
