El Presidente Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 The grass is not always greener on the other side....and while some aspects annoy us, there is something special about home Still, if you have been around for some time, the thought may have crossed your mind. Some have acted on it and for others (like myself), you have toyed with the idea to some extent or another..even if it is a daydream or something put off for "down the track". So the question, If you could move anywhere where would it be? Another country, another city or state within your own country. it really doesn't ' matter. Simply, where and why
Popular Post stogieluver Posted April 19, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2015 I want to come live with you, El Prez, because you have a warehouse full of CC's. I can sweep floors, clean toilets, make beds, mix drinks, cut and light cigars to earn my room and board. My wife and I won't need much space. Just a bed and toilet. 8
Habana Mike Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Our goal is to have a small coffee farm in Kailua Kona on the Big Island of Hawaii Perfect altitude and weather, amazing views, not too crowded like some of the other islands, 6 out of 7 seasons, farm tax subsidies and Grander Alley 20 minutes away! 3

Colt45 Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Back to South Boston. You can take the boy out of the city, but you can't take the city out of the boy. I could never deny my roots.
Scroats Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 I would buy (or build) an Rv and travel around. When I get bored of that, be it from desiring a more urban lifestyle or wanting to broach other continents where an Rv is unfeasible, I will rent furnished apartments a month at a time. If I find a place to settle down, then that will be that.
Drguano Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 This is my dream bungalow. Too bad Ajay says no lodgers... 2
airtrade Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 The Big Island too. Awesome scenery yet almost like living in the country. If all goes as planned my wife and I will retire there in about 15 years. 2
Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted April 19, 2015 Popular Post Posted April 19, 2015 A small town in Italy, either in Tuscany or Calabria. Somewhere quiet, but with access to rail so I can head out when I need a change of pace. A quiet little spot, with a view and access to fresh vegetables, fruit meats and fish. I could totally run a Bed N Breakfast there during peak seasons and string up the barbed wire when that's done. 5
BlueClaw Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Some place on the Mediterranean, like Spain, Greece, Italy... 2
BlueClaw Posted April 19, 2015 Posted April 19, 2015 Why.. fresh seafood daily, 5 months of no work a year and lot's of relaxing would be my dream place.

Ryan Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 My wife wants us to move to Cuba for a year. Her idea. She's at the point where she's emailing me the prices for the international schools there. Of course, a large part of me loves the idea. Another part of me has a 10 year old and a 12 year old. I've told her it's not easy..
