forgop
So, I stumbled upon one if my cigar caddies that had a leftover cigar from a wedding 6 months ago. It was humidified for that weekend but certainly didn't maintain ideal conditions in the entire 6 months. Any chance my cigar will ever be the same? And if you must know, it was an HU Monarch with about 10 years on it.
Habana Mike
Is it dry and crunchy? Probably never quite the same as prior to your neglect but would still be smokeable with a proper resuscitation.....low and slow, just like true BBQ! Certainly wouldn't toss it without giving it a chance.

stunod
I"ve done it. I had a box of Monte 2"s MIA in the postal abyss for 8 months. Put them in your humi for at least 6 months, but make sure the humidity lower in the beginning , around 60-62. If you aver humidify it at the start they may crack. Lasabar
May not be the same, but I'd put them at slightly less than ideal conditions for just as long as you've forgotten about them, then at regular humidity for longer. Hopefully you have many ot b ers to smoke and can just forget about them and hope for the best!
Jones
In my opinion it's not worth it.

CaptainQuintero
Cigar caddies are airtight right? If so then they should be fine, no different to a kilner jar.
Shikar
I have had terrible results with trying to revive a dead dry cigar. Death. Is irreversible. Regards.

Smallclub
Guys, saying "do this" or "do that" is totally useless if you don't know the actual ambient humidity in the place where the cigar stayed. Six months in a wet countryside house where the humidity never goes below 50% or six months in a central heated flat at 30%? That makes a huge difference.
ehdg
Since it was left in your cigar caddy sealed up I'd think it should be okay. I doubt much damage was done. Cigars are more resilient then must of us give them credit for. I'd place it back in your humidor if it's not dried out and cracking or over humidified and wet. It probably will be just fine in 2 or 3 months.
coronacigar
I've tried to revive cigars before, and I have found that some cigars are more forgiving than others. Only way to really determine if they will be good is to slowly attempt to bring them back to life. I guess it's kind of like Frankenstein... Some of the cigars I've attempted to do this with have cracked or not every smoked the same, while others have been delicious after proper storage for 3-4 months. Please keep us posted on your results... wish you best of luck.
