CigarDarr111
Hello gents, as of recently I have jumped into the FOH scene and have been buying boxes. I'm wondering what types of ideas and concepts many of you have come up with and use to age and store boxes ? Thanks for the feedback in advance gentlemen!! free85
Does "without using a humidor" discount options like a coolerdor or a converted freezer?
CigarDarr111
Without using a humidor meaning taking the cigars out of the box and storing them in a traditional wood humidor
HarveyBoulevard
Do search for 'Coolidor' and you will get a ton of threads that go over the whats and hows along with the pros and cons. I love my coolidor for larger capacity storage and my humidor for what is going to be burned sooner rather than later.
cdnstogie
Yup - Coolidor is definitely one of the best options for 'cheap' storage. Another option is finding wine fridge and using that - if you do not need to plug it in, you can get one that doesn't work on kijiji or the like for next to nothing. free85
Count me as another vote for a coolerdor. They certainly have pros and cons but if you're looking for easy and extremely inexpensive storage that doesn't involve building something it's hard to imagine anything else as a fit. Especially if you live in a mild climate or can keep the cooler somewhere where the ambient temperature isn't a worry (basement, somewhere air conditioned, etc). DoubleDD
I'm on my second coolerdor setup. I'm in the process of setting it up as we speak.
al321
Buy a cooler twice the size as you think you need...they fill up quickly!
potpest
I use plastic storage boxes: seal the lids with draught excluder, add beads and a hygrometer. Cheap, easy and stable. If you can get coolers cheaply they are excellent aswell as everyone else said
kindanutz
Food saver vacuum sealer with a large boveda pack... Crack it every once in awhile to exchange air and to help facilitate curing and aging... great for long term storage..

aushy
A coolidor is the way to go if you aren't concerned with aesthetics. Just get yourself a good sealing humidor, some heartfelt beads, and a digital hygrometer and you're good to go.

Homebrew
I agree with the above, Coolidor, is the way to go. A poorly focused picture, but you get the idea. Dave (A.K.A. Homebrew)
