CaptainQuintero Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Good God what a shocker, I turned it off after 20 min. I avoid the rock's films as a rule a as his acting is abysmal but I read he was incredible proud of this film and that it was epic in scale. The old adventures of Hercules that read on tv at the same time as xena warrior princess has better acting and is more convincing! Just a shocker. 2

I don't mind the Rock in SOME movies such as Fast and Furious BUT yes I truly agree, Hercules was beyond words in the sheer and EPIC FAIL that it was. I couldn't watch the whole thing either.
Erm310mce Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I turned it off the other night as well. Wife and I had a good laugh but couldn't get past 30 minutes. Horrible
garbandz Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 was expecting Peewee Herman, got the Rock.......oh well...............
Colt45 Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Mindless entertainment as I pretty much expected. But I admit that I liked the twist of the underlying premise.
brutusthebuckeye Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I didn't watch this movie and never will...anytime a former or current pro wrastler is in a movie it's a no go... Almost as bad as a former porn star trying to go legit and star in some horrible B or C movie... 1
Fosgate Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 The best movie I liked him in was "The Other Guys" probably because he died in the first few minutes. I'd give a desk pop to that.
CanuckSARTech Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I didn't watch this movie and never will...anytime a former or current pro wrastler is in a movie it's a no go... Sacrilege!!!!! The Rundown - The Rock Predator - Jesse Ventura Running Man - Jesse Ventura ... ... Ummmmm....
Mr.T Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I watched it; but at 35,000 feet and having watched most of the films on Delta flights over the last four months on the road I was desperate...really desperate ....I agree with what everyone says Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ginseng Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 How could you forget Rowdy Roddy Piper in They Live. THAT's the sacrilege there. As for "The Other Guys" that was one of the most horrible things I've ever seen. Insufferable. Intolerable. Wilkey

"I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass...and I'm all out of bubblegum." Can't forget the fight scene epic enough for the creators of South Park to duplicate it in their cripple fight.

shlomo Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 Saw Hercules yesterday. Thought it was actually half decent. Good action, big monsters, big muscles. What the hell do you guys want from a Hercules film...? Better, MUCH better than the Keller Lutz disaster a couple months earlier. And They Live and Frogs are two of my all time favorite movies. Whenever I see either on tv, I watch! Rowdy Rules!!
Colt45 Posted January 2, 2015 Posted January 2, 2015 What the hell do you guys want from a Hercules film...? No doubt. And I never leave home without my They Live Shades.......
Fosgate Posted January 3, 2015 Posted January 3, 2015 Got a point. Lately the muscled action stars are being forced out of retirement. I have no clue as to how "The Expendables" has ran as long as it has. 1
