Romeo y Julieta Belicoso?

i have have received three recommendations on recent R&J Belicoso. I have scheduled them for an upcoming vid review.

For those that have had them recently (and 2012-2014 stock), have they indeed risen from the dead?

Very dark red and oily wrappers lately. Great flavours but need a bit of age to come out

I haven't smoked one recently either. Seems to be one that never gets much talk either.

Seems like the recent Romeo's have been pretty good. so I'm curious to see how the review turns out on these.

These are simply gross.

Last one I had was last year sometime, and I'm not willing to try any more for a very long time. With the BBF and La Punta smoking so well over the past decade, there is no reason to hunt for what might be a decent belicoso, but chances are will make me sick.

Oh man I had one this past summer and loved it. I ordered it as a single and sat on it for probably a year. Been looking for a box.

Oh they were repulsive. Trust me, I wouldn't have put them on the review list if it weren't for some members who have told me to revisit the 12's 13's as they are a different beast. We will find out soon enough

The question is how much do you like the Romeo flavor profile? I think the Belicoso is probably one of the best cigars in their line, but it is contingent on really liking that Romeo flavor. It's been a while since cell I had a Romeo Bel. but I remember that the flavor from it was reminiscent of sweet tea. They are usually found at a decent price too which is a bonus. If you are uncertain on the Romeo's in general I would grab a box of their Petite Coronas first and see if that works for you.

Received an RyJ Belicosos EAG SEP 2013 in a sampler. Didn't have any of the RyJ flavors that I love at all. Maybe I should have let it age for another year but wont be trying one again anytime soon.

I have had a few RyJ Beli's over the years and was a bit underwhelmed by them.

Was hoping to hear that they may have been better since I've heard quite a bit of good feedback on some of the other recent RyJ's. That and I do like the belicoso.
