No....not that connotation biggrin.png

What was the last cigar that you didn't want to end?

For me .....Connie A LUB FEB 14 Friday. I don't smoke a lot of DC ...but if he Connie A blend was in a DC I would smoke them like no tomorrow....and when i needed a shorter cigar ...cut one in half lookaround.gif

When a Monte No4 is ON I wish it was a LOT longer. Most of the time they are okay and the smaller size is goof for a bit shorter of a time. But when one sets off the flavor alarms in my mouth I always want to light a second one right away.

any of those pre-embarg stuff. the longest pre 1980s sticks i have are the damn Coronas.

lord help me as I missed out on a La Escepcion Diademas a while back. i really want a thick, long pre-80s cigar. Not for just the taste and the super enjoyment. but just to see what it's like, how they smoke, how a REALLY aged cigar that lasts long smokes. all that fun kinda stuff. It was more for the sake of curiosity and knowledge as they're only things that i've seen. I would love to see the advancement on a pre-80s churchill or what something that lasts over 1.5 hours would be like. would they get harsh down to the same point? would they even get harsh?

Mind you, i'd really want any pre-80s stick laugh.png

My very last Montecristo D LE 2005.

I felt like crying but it was soooo good, had to enjoy it. ;)

If El Pres can suggest cutting a cigar into half (albeit jokingly, i think :lookaround: ) then cutting my churchills/DCs into halves suddenly doesnt sound ridiculous at all. haha

It's not ridiculous. I've done it a few times. Top part unravels which is annoying. Other than that it's fine.

haul ass to Europe someday, Mikey!!

they still surface periodically in Switzerland, Spain, Germany, etc. and i believe many are still floating around in the UK. (for some reason, they actually have a 'maduro' designation there. weird).

HU Sir Winston this weekend. ARG ABR 14.

Just great in balance of flavour for me on that day.

Very tempted to light another one.

Same, mine was phenomenal as well.

H.Upmann Magnum 46 (UPE ABR 13) on Friday. 96p

I wish it was a never ending cigar, a never ending experience. Perfection in every way. Clear reminder why it is my favorite cigar of all time.

Hi , just wondering if you tried these with some age and if so how they compare

as some of the other HU seem to be smoking well young also

Are you sure it was March 2014? There is usually a 6 month lag in dates. I dont think I have ever seen a 3 month.

I sometimes do it, specially when I find a DC or churchill with a very tight draw.

While smoking I asked myself the same.

Had a 2001 a couple month ago which was absolut excellent.

Both kind of similar, the 2001 more smooth.

Very happy with both and will choose according to mood.

Upmann Half Coronas...I bought them for price and I wanted a quick smoke, but it's just too quick. The flavors are excellent and it's made me fall in love with Upmann, but it could still use an extra inch!
