BTO Sep 13 . phenomenal.

Excellent, but have only smoked 3 or 4. Not sure the value is there however when compared to other robustos at half the cost.

ThisThe choice of one box of CoRo's or two boxes of the other robustos on the 12:12 for almost the same price. No brainer IMO and the reason I don't have a single box of Cohibas. Not worth it IMO.

well, i can honestly say both at their best, i've never had a cigar half the price that had the same taste profile or the richnest. of course i agree its overpriced, but if it was'nt, would it be they same?

Probably not, but I'll definitely smoke more of them. If price wasn't an issue, then yes it is the best robusto I have smoked.

Excellent but I'm not sure they're worth the price. In terms of 2013 selections the PSD4s have been generally excellent, especially the ABR stuff and the PSD5s are no slouches either.

If the Cohiba Robustos were less per stick, I'd say yes. But as of right now, the premium isn't justified.

I haven't smoked a D4 in a while. I might have to revisit.

I still don't care for them as much as I used to.

I'd say the Partagas P2 is a better buy.

Have excellent results from my CoRo in 13, ones from 2012 are going sick currently, compared the two last week

Not what I wanted to hear! I have a Sep 12 box that's been resting for over a year which I've been waiting patiently for that 2 year mark to dive into it. Now I'm a bit worried. It has not been easy to keep my hands out of that box. Lol

My coworker brought me back a 3-pack which I expect were '13s and they were quite nice.

How do the 13s, compare to the 12s?

I have 2 boxes from 2012 and they are really really good. I have two boxes so one will probably not be touched for another 2-3 years, but the first box is not going to last as long if things don't take turn for the worst.

Hedge your bets and smoke from both!

I have tried one from the second box, they are both same box code and month and taste the same. I cheated and replaced the one I smoked.

I have some Feb 13s but have not tried them yet. Sounds like it is time.

I think COROs hold up better in "off" years for Cohiba. I've had some not terribly good examples of other vitolas from 2013.

can anyone speak for the 14s? Bringing this one back from the dead but really tempted to try a box of the 14s

There have been some stellar 2014's. Production dried up August-December 2014 but first 5 months of 2014 were generally excellent. The MUO May 14 among the best CORO I have ever had.

2014's have been excellent for such a young cigar. One of the best young ones of the year along with the Bolivar PC and H. Upmann's #2

Thanks for the replies guys figured i couldn't go wrong but just wanted to make sure. I could get a couple boxes of BRCs/PSD4s/etc for 1 box of COROs - not sure what to do. I have really enjoyed the siglos i've had lately

Hi Guys,

I've no idea the box codes on the 21 Tubos I picked up a few months back but it's been very difficult to keep my hands of the delicious little buggers. I suspect they're '14s though as they've the new holographic bands. And isn't the Coro Tubos 3 pack a relatively a newish release?

And while it's agreed they are pricey, they're worth it - even if I can't afford to smoke these on a regular basis. After all, the Coro was the stick that started me in this hobby.

And I also get that for some folks, it's just not their thing. I've yet to smoke anything Ramone Allones that did anything for me. Just plain don't like the flavor profile.

But yeah, these '14 Coros are very good. Very creamy and smooth. Will be sad when the last one is gone.

Cheers,

EZTRGT

Kyle
