UpInSmoak Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Where's the "unlike" button? Some of these stances are reprehensible.
Colt45 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 An other one: Wasn't it Davidoff who wrote one should only smoke half of a cigar to begin with?
Maplepie Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 Wasn't it Davidoff who wrote one should only smoke half of a cigar to begin with?He was a salesman. If you smoke a 1 h cigar in 30min, you would be buying 2 of them. Spread that info around and in a perfect world, he'll make twice as much money. 4. Profit!!!! Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
Colt45 Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 He was a salesman. I think that maybe it was more about propriety - perhaps Davidoff was extended pinky whereas someone like Churchill was more extended middle finger (or for his subject of the crown half, forward facing "V")...
Habana Mike Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Just tried this cutting a Monte A in half. Now I have two 9.3" canoes! 1

Lotusguy Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Winston Churchill used to relight several times his cigar… ghetto? Thinking that a cigar is dead because it's been off for a few hours is just wrong. There is a way to clean, purge and smoke a julieta or DC that was unlit for a time… Not for me. They consistently, invariably, taste like licking an ashtray. Purging, cutting, et cetera doesn't help. Maybe I'm just not cheap or rich enough 2
BH2876 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 I had to do it on a mass scale when fly fishing in Chile with Ken, Des, Macho and Greg. Outside of ken and myself, the others brought no cigars for the week We were heading to Havana the week following....but for this week in Chile (remote area) I took stock of what we had.....and it wasn't pretty. I cut my box of Partagas 898 varnished into 4:4.5:4's......OK we now had 50 cigars + a dozen mived PC/Corona Gorda/Robusto that I had. I shared them all around ....except for Ken...who refused to cut down his stash of SLRDC We now each had a pack of 15 cigars to last 7 days until we hit Havana. It was a tight week Great funny story, you are a good man,may the cigar gods bless you with exceptional smokes for your deed. Thanks for the laugh.
