Ladies smoking in public? See my box? Why is my name beaver?

Am I going to have to start posting pictures?

I have news. 99% of the posters here are women. They just won't admit it.

My wife enjoys a good cigar and the relaxation it brings the two of us. Only problem with this is she dips into my stash lol. On a serious note she saw that I was interested and curious tried a CC. She was used to the NC that I had smoked in the past and now wants nothing other than a good CC. Love that we have something to enjoy together still working on having a smoking room in the house one day lol

My wife likes to hang with my friends. She will smoke a flavored one... but, does not like the others. At the B&M, one of the two women who works there loves cigars... the other is cute and trys to fit in.

It's hard enough in Oz to find a fellow cigar smoker let alone a female cigar smoker! I was pleasantly surprised recently at a work conference for my wife when a colleague of hers sat with me, talked cigars and smoked a habano.

During the 2000's the best tobacco shop in Paris (actually in the poach suburb Neuilly) was owned and run by a pretty young lady who had a real knowledge and often came in cigar parties…

I have seen ladies in all "herfs" I have attended. The most famous being Maya Selva, founder of Flor de Selva and Cumpay cigars.

Of course there are women who smoke cigars. Nobody is saying they don't exist. The point is: few or many?

I'd say no more than 5% of the cigarsmokers are women. In fact 3% sound more plausible.

Seems about half the posts here know several and the other half know none :)

My girlfriend enjoys the odd cigar. She's a health nut. Eats mostly veggies and fish , works out etc.

One time on a trip overseas i managed to convince her to try an SLR Regios and she was amazed how good it tasted. She has the odd Por Larranaga Encatos or Robusto also.

Fortunately i have a few boxes of each stashed away.

I've only met one woman in North Dakota who enjoys cigars - and I married her. She doesn't smoke nearly as often as I do, but she does have a couple of boxes in the cabinet that have "mine!" written on them.

Growing up in Seattle I knew a lot of women that smoked cigars. But that could have been a timing thing, too. I was a college kid in the early-mid 90s, right when cigar bars were popping up everywhere.

Cheers,

My mother used to smoke cigarettes years ago. A few months ago she was visiting and wanted to try one of my cigars out of the blue.

She inhaled the dumb thing.... Her reaction afterwards brings the meaning of the word "spasm" to an entirely new level for me now.

The fact that my father and I were laughing hysterically didn't help. She can't stand to even look at a cigar now.

My girlfriend smokes cigars. After we started dating she found she enjoyed the smell of cigar smoke and eventually tried one. She now has her own corner in the humidor with a nice selection of cigars.
