mgravito Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 On another post I mentioned the HdM Short Piramides LE 2011 and realized that it's a very infrequently mentioned cigars. I think they're phenomenal. Are there any REs or LEs that are rarely discussed that you particularly enjoy? Obviously there are many LEs and REs that are discussed often (ED109, Bolivar Simones, ERDM Infantes, etc.) but I'm curious about some others.

Laxman Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I have been enjoying the RA Petit Belicosos UK 12 I believe. Smoked through half a box of 10 in the last week or so. Have not heard or seen much about them.
Maplepie Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 I have been enjoying the RA Petit Belicosos UK 12 I believe. i shot up a thread a while back on how RA has four Petit Belicoso REs. most people claim they're the exact same stick...... weird. hard to say what's defined as 'Under the Radar'. that seems to be a very fine line. i haven't heard discussion outside of Canada on the Simones for a while until Rob posted up his review. And they were (according to the Canucks raving about them) were pretty damn awesome before then and are still awesome now. Some REs are pretty damn 'under the radar' because of their blasted rarity. these include the ERdM Vikingos, LGC Delicioso, Juan Lopez Obus, RA Petit Belicoso UK '05, etc etc, and ESPECIALLY the Bolivar 5th Avenue and Bolivar China Jars. those blasted rare sticks are pretty damn coveted my many...... Now some of you may say that ALL of these sticks are not under the radar. but just bare in mind that to me, they are. i rarely hear discussion on these (other than how rare the Vikingos and Obus are).

asmartbull Posted May 3, 2014 Posted May 3, 2014 Actually, with the exception of the hoyo...which I think is going to be wonderful, I think most re/e's get to must hype....and many don't live up to it. ...and that second band can start getting expensive. With a few exceptions, I am going back to aging my staples... sent while mobile....

I agree I love the hoyos, loved when I got a bunch in 2012 for a really good price. Smoked 20 in one year now I'm letting them rest only had 2 in the past 18 months and I have 2 boxes resting
