Wis minds please let me know. has she got a birthday coming up and looking for something really nice? sadly, i am that fat. but i am not in it to win - just hopefully shed some bulk.
nem Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I am sure your wife is a wonderful person, but with women, yes can mean no ("you better not"), maybe can mean absolutely no ("I dare you"), no can even on occasions mean yes, and kind of can mean very. Perhaps it is best to make this decision independently, at least relatively speaking. 1
HarveyBoulevard Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 The fact that she emphasized 'THAT' ... as in "your not THAT fat" is her tell. My wife has the same tell.
Guyman1966 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 My mom said that I"m just big boned. LOL (thank you Cartman)
Jeremy Festa Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Count yourself lucky mate. I am currently 72kg and 169cm tall. I was 79kg about 3 months ago. But have just lost 7kg doing a 12 week challenge to support my wife, while she was doing the 12 week challenge, so she could lose the last of her 'baby weight' after our second child. So, now, I have lost nearly 10% body weight, and weigh 2.5kgs more than I did when I was at university. She says, I am still fat. 1

mncz Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Does it matter so much what the wives say when there's a box of puros waiting at the finish line? 2
Smalls Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 I am not fat…. I may be in denial about all the weight I have gained over the last year or so. But at least I'm not fat..
shlomo Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Is there a FB competition? I thought it was just a question thread to "gauge interest"? 1

JoeyGunz Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Sent my mrs the link, she assumed I was calling her a fat bastard.... she said I need to get on it, been steadily piling on the pounds since being with her if only she could finish a meal, I can't see the food go to waste haha 2
Maxismoke Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 My mom said that I"m just big boned. LOL (thank you Cartman) Big boned? Dinosaurs are big boned.. you're big assed!! (Dennis Leary) :-)
Hamlon Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Big boned? Dinosaurs are big boned.. you're big assed!! (Dennis Leary) :-) "Bones don't wiggle " - unknown I wouldn't say I'm fat, rather a bit bulky. Will begin to cut about 10kg once I return from the states next Sunday. Might be 15kg depending on how much I put on
HarveyBoulevard Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 splain that there tell Its all about the emphasis. For instance... your not going to eat THAT for lunch are you... your not going to spend THAT much for cigars are you... your not going to drink THAT much scotch tonight are you... your not going to bring THAT girl home with you tonight are you... The tell is the displeasure intimated by the tone and inflection of the word THAT in her sentences. If my wife says ANYTHING with that tone and inflection, I tend to reconsider my choice. 1
