OFF TO JAPAN THIS WEEK

Hi all I am off to japan this week for work related training and given the opportunity would love to catch up with any members over there .

With it being work there is not a lot of free time available ,coupled with the fact we are for the most part based out side of Tokyo

for the first two days i will be in Yonezawa,and for the next three i will be in Kashiwa ,which by looking at the map doesn't seem that far from Tokyo.

Saturday is the last day i am there and have most of the day free.so am open to any suggestions,feel free to pm me and we will see what we can arrange thanking you in advance and looking forward to seeing and spending time in your wonderful country

Safe trip pal, try to go to Maduro bar in Grand Hyatt hotel Roppongi hill, this one is really nice jazz bar which you can smoke cigar.

There is an awesome cigar and whisky bar inside the intercontinental hotel in Tokyo. If you have time, try the 30 yr old yamazaki single malt and a nice cigar. Great way to kill a couple hours!

Shame, would love to catch up in or around Tokyo but I won't be back before June.

Enjoy your time in Japan, one of the very few places where you can still light up your smoke in almost any bar! Enjoy a glass of ***** from the Barrel, one of my favorites, it comes in a handy, square, stumpy 500ml bottle, perfect to take home...

You could try the Conrad Hotel in Tsukiji also.

The bar features live music, has a great view of Tokyo bay...and of course you can smoke there.

They even have a small selection if cigars -too expensive so use only if your forgot yours!

Later in the week will find out how much free time I have leaving yonezawa tomorrow and off to Kashiwa for 3 days will post more time permitting cheers all and arigato

Hi all having a great time here in Kashiwa work is taking up nearly all my time so not much left over for R&R does anybody know of any good spots here in Kashiwa

Not allowed to smoke on the streets here but Restaurants ok the opposite of OZ any input graciously received cheers all

Glad you're enjoying it Steve! I miss going to Japan , I know it's not near you but I would second the suggestion for the Grand Hyatt at Roppongi Hills.

Wherever you go, soak it all in and enjoy mate.
