Laxman Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 So far it has been a great opening weekend in the NFL. Yesterdays games were both crazy games.Colts were down by 28 points I believe at half to the Chiefs and came back to win by a point. The late game the Saints kicked a last second field goal to beat the Eagles. Today the Charges and Bengals game was kinda boring. Played in the pouring rain, the Bengals had too many turnovers to hold of the Charges. Next up we have in my mind the game of the week! Packers vs Niners. With wind chill looks like it could be -15 degrees. This should be a great game played in brutal weather. Looking forward to having a few friends over and smoking some good cigars! Going to try my first Behike 56, also looking forward to that . Should be one hell of a game. My prediction is 34-31 Green Bay kicks a last second field for the win. I am a New York Giants fan so our season end long ago. Chime on on predictions or who you like to go the distance and win the Superbowl.
rckymtn22 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Just want to point out that the Colts were down to the Chiefs and came back to win. Major choke by the Chiefs. Typical choke by the Bungles. Hoping for a Green Bay win.
ChanceSchmerr Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Watching the game in my Packers hat and hoping for Kapernick to get his due - it's about time we steamrolled this bum. Gonna light up a SCDLH Muralla later in the game....
dangolf18 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 49ers have this. Green Bay can't get anything done.
ChanceSchmerr Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Its early. Plenty of time to take down these SF clowns.
madandana Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Go 49ers. Just cuz they're playing the Pack. I love watching in bad conditions.
dangolf18 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Its early. Plenty of time to take down these SF clowns.
mk05 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Weather changes everything. Superbowl will favor cold weather teams.
ChanceSchmerr Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Eat it Krapernick. INT leads to GB TD. Now we have a game
brutusthebuckeye Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 What time do the Cowboys play? Same time as Browns!
Duxnutz Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Can't believe guys are playing in short sleeves!
Natedog Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Just happy to see SD with a win in the playoffs. Would love to see them go all the way but if they do it will be bitter sweet. I really wanted them to do it with Schottenheimers team. Missing LT, Seau, Sproles and more. But I would still love to see my bolts goooooo a llllll theeeeee wayyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!
ChanceSchmerr Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 F*ck that Carolina better beat the tar out of that bullspit team
Pilsner14 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 First meaningful kick for Dawson in his career. Poor Brownies.
Laxman Posted January 6, 2014 Author Posted January 6, 2014 Well it was a great game I was off on the winner and points. Not a big Kap fan but he stepped up when it counted and pulled out the win.
rock Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I love to see the pack fall apart. McCarthy is a joke, they need a new coach and better receivers. Can they get anymore calls going their way??? Nice hold on 4th and 2.
Ken Gargett Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 it is a game of inches. that bloke holds the intercept, and he was so close, just near the end and it is packers v panthers, i suspect.
PatrickJ Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Hoping that the Pat's can finally win their 4th SB now that the G-Men can't get in the way. The Broncos vs. Seahawks will be a decent match up but I'll say: Patriots 20 Seahawks 27
El Presidente Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 Good game watching from the deck ken nailed it. Really a game of inches. That one interception and the Cheeseheads move on.
SMQQKIN Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 GBs fans must have known they were going to lose. 1st time GB didn't sell out in over 300 games & I couldn't be happier with the outcome of the game!
Orion21 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 It was a great game. It really ebbed and flowed from one side to the other the whole game. Kapernick was the wildcard and he showed up for one of the first times this year. His rushing was the difference in the game. Also, towards the end of the game Aaron Rogers had a clear path to the end zone, but he chose to throw it away. Before his injury he would have at least tried to run it in.
dtrott Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Green Bay/San Fran was a great game.In fact all 4games this weekend were real competitive and entertaining.Overall a great 2days for the NFL.Sorry Packer fans...to much Colin Kapernick. That guy is a friggin beast!
DrunkenMonkey Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 I suppose we'll never know, but I wonder how close to 100% Rodgers was. Orion is right, there were a few times I thought he would run, where he normally would, but didn't.
