Ophidion Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Working at a La Casa... seriously I cant think of a better job. Well, either that or hunting guide.
Duxnutz Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I reckon being a travel writer would be cool. I've always toyed being an author for when they simply over regulate my job that its no longer enjoyable. Still a few redeeming features though!
ptrthgr8 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I've always thought it would be incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to be an expert flintlock rifle maker - i.e. one of those artisans who knows all of the various Pennsylvania schools. Being able to carve and turn a gorgeous stock from a big hunk of curly maple, all the hand fitting and finishing needed to get everything together, being able to spend hours and hours in the shop and absolutely loving every second of it, and then ending up with an amazing handcrafted custom flintlock rifle that has no exact duplicate. Now that would make me all sorts of happy. I've been managing employees and their managers for 15 years now... wouldn't mind a role and the knowledge/skills to be a custom gun maker like that. Serenity now! Like this fellow here: http://www.allenmartinrifles.net/ Just a brief example of his work: Yes, indeed. I would love to have those sorts of skills... but that's the result of a lifetime spent doing one thing. You don't learn to do that overnight. Cheers, ~ Greg ~
Peacock Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 The obvious comes mind, professional bikini contest judge (I feel that I would be good at that, no training necessary). But in my heart, I would love to be a scout for an NHL franchise. I have spent the last decade involved in youth hockey and really enjoy watching the future stars as kids. I flew out to Chicago last year to watch some USHL games and these guys play good solid hockey for a bunch of teenagers. Every once in awhile you will see flashes of brilliance on the ice, and I would love to be the guy to search those players out.
riazp Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Sports Caster/Color Commentator. I love sports and this would be an ideal job for me
rckymtn22 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Replace Warren Buffet. Skim off a few million of his billions to pay for my 7 days of work!
potpest Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Since I was 14 I always wanted to be a chef but was always discouraged... It never happened and I feel i'm too old at 30 for a career change like that....probably the only "what if" that I really wonder about
Habanos2000 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I'd love to fly high performance jet aircraft, military grade that is. Nothing more wicked than those Ferrari's of the sky.
GernBlansten Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Meteorologist for a Volvo Ocean Racing team.
srbbones Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 I was asked to be a Politician for the liberal party here (Republicans in the US). Didn't survive the first day of background checks The background checks keep out the best leaders
poorman Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 That's easy... F -16 pilot Next choice: Formula One driver
Cohiba Stevie Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Probably a record producer as said above. Dabbled in it a tiny bit. Really enjoy making my own music. After that it genuinely would be a cigar vendor.
GoJohnnyGo Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 Astrobiologist or interplanetary geologist. I'm so jealous of those nerds driving the curiosity rover around. I'd love to be part of a team that is exploring the big world outside of our little world.
jimbo1 Posted October 10, 2013 Posted October 10, 2013 if I was younger, first baseman for the New York Mets cigar related, a master roller
kevfi Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Ok.... So seriously now. I used to build custom motorcycle's but my partner had no concept of budgeting or paying bills. If I could do it again, I'm positive that I could make money!!!!!
ZinZan Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Talent aside, F1 driver but for longer career span i say a golf player. At least i cam play until im 60 in the senior circuit.
SCgarman Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 watchmaker. I love Rolex timepieces. It is a skill that many of the younger generation are not interested in. But Rolex timepieces and all other mechanical watches need to be serviced every 5 to 10 years due to the various lubricants drying out over time. It takes patience, dexterity and problem solving skills to properly take apart, clean, inspect and reassemble a movement that has around 200 individual parts.
Bigevul Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Brewmaster..with a nice little microbrewery.....
