El Presidente Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 I have always thought there was a great similarity between older Saint Luis Rey Serie A and La Gloria Cubana MO 2. Yours?
Colt45 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 My thought is that Cuban cigars share more similarities than they do differences - perhaps a blind tasting is in order?........ I know, not what you're looking for......
Puros Y Vino Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 From the RE world. RA Gladiators and Condes 109. Very similar in profile.
nikesupremedunk Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Cohiba and Trinidad can be pretty similar... I found Dip 2, Monte 2, and VR unicos to be pretty similar as well...if they had no bands I wouldn't be able to tell them apart.
Bartolomeo Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Quai Corona = ERDM PC Monte 4 = HDM Corona Both examples tasted similar to me from memory Bart
Blakes Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 With this years blind tasting comp I was convinced cigar no.1 was a Bolivar CG.... alas it was not, so based on that i'm going to say BCG and R+J Churchill! LOL

olotti Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 In the original blind tasting I had a pc that I would've swore was a BPC but it was a Siglo II. Both full of coffee, cream, white spice and med-full I would say that's my take. Now haven't smoked a Siglo II since as I have none but the BPC's I've had in the 3 yrs since the original tasting would lead me the same way, but sometimes Boli gives a hind of earthiness that Cohiba doesn't.
mk05 Posted July 25, 2013 Posted July 25, 2013 Ahhh...Rob, now you are treading dangerous waters of Cubatabaco/Tabacuba!
