oliverdst Posted July 9, 2013 Posted July 9, 2013 According to Stephen Griffiths Hoyo Grand Epicure EL will be launched in the next few days althought it seems Punch LE will be the first. Any information about the price, Pres?
finecigar Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Thanks for sharing photos! Look at all that band- wow
oliverdst Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 Official news in Habanos website http://habanos.com/article.aspx?aid=635
oliverdst Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 In my first post I said that Punch could be released first. I heard that from a man of UK's importer. Good source but Habanos seems to have another plan. Let's wait.
jedipastor Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 These sound good! I love the EE and the Epi #2, so I wonder how the blend will taste with the LE maduro wrapper.
investandprosper Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 55rg? Seriously? I'll take two boxes of Epi 1st or Epi 2s over what this is likely to cost.
SteveGriff Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 In my first post I said that Punch could be released first. I heard that from a man of UK's importer. Good source but Habanos seems to have another plan. Let's wait. Actually, I asked a H&F representative yesterday after hearing the news regarding the Grand Epicure and he mentioned that the Punch will probably be the first EL he'd think he'd see. Maybe it's a case of "Cuba being Cuba" - they've been saying one thing for the last couple of weeks (that the Punch will be first) but in the last couple of days it seems that the HdM will be the first release?
SteveGriff Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Just noticed that the English Habanos page says "forthcoming days", while the Spanish version says "Forthcoming weeks" Habanos' way of covering their own asses?
backslide Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 These sound good! I love the EE and the Epi #2, so I wonder how the blend will taste with the LE maduro wrapper. That's not a maduro wrapper, unless you're just refering to color.
Laxman Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I love the epi 2's so I am definitely going to try a box.
Orion21 Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 So it's an RyJ Wide Churchill with a Hoyo and EL band . . .
oliverdst Posted August 1, 2013 Author Posted August 1, 2013 In my first post I said that Punch could be released first. I heard that from a man of UK's importer. Good source but Habanos seems to have another plan. Let's wait. According to a London vendor he already has Punch 2013.
SteveGriff Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 CGars LTD have put on their site the Punch 2013 LE but I dont think that means they have them in stock... I think it means that they wont be long receiving them. Ajay hasn't mentioned anything (to my knowledge) regarding when they will receive any 2013 LE's, and I'd assume he'd get them at his LCDH at least a week before any other UK retailer. (that what's happened in the past with RE and LE releases when they arrive in the UK)
oliverdst Posted August 2, 2013 Author Posted August 2, 2013 Ajay said "Punch LE 2013 already in stock".
SteveGriff Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Ajay said "Punch LE 2013 already in stock". Awesome!
Jnaube Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 Just as I was looking for something to spend some coin on... Timing could not be better!
MattW Posted August 3, 2013 Posted August 3, 2013 I'm quite excited about these! Hopefully they follow on well from the LCDH Epicure De Luxes which are fantastic!
oliverdst Posted August 6, 2013 Author Posted August 6, 2013 Punch Limitada 2013 for 500 pounds sterling in a UK cigar vendor.
seamus Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 One vendor has the Hoyos at $225 but he often discounts so anything at regular price seems overpriced.
sactochris Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 I'm quite excited about these! Hopefully they follow on well from the LCDH Epicure De Luxes which are fantastic! I was just thinking the same thing.
