I named my Weimaraner pup Remington (Remy for short). Not the most original, I know, but he's my first upland dog. Had he been a she, I would have opted for Winnie (nickname for Winchester) or Tikka. I'm a gun guy, so using those sorts of names for hunting dogs always appealed to me. But I suppose Peanut would work, too.
