Strada Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Only you Art...very nice project but we all know you only have fakes sooo I will watch out for the dirty ashes take on it
IcedCanuck Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Cool project, I'll be keeping my eye on this one.
Puros Y Vino Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 Frank, his room mate in Havana was the one with the palate of a goat... Art's palate is so advanced he can tell if the cigar was rolled by a man or a woman! Marc. what are you smoking? You were Art's room mate! Art's palate can tell what the roller was smoking that day. Mmmmmm Bauza.
sengjc Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 I am thinking the dark wrappers are usually from the 2010 batch. You can really see those.
PigFish Posted February 14, 2013 Posted February 14, 2013 If she does not dress like Vanna this means nothing. ... this is priceless! If BigHillBillys came with Vanna, I too would smoke them! Sorry, it is easy to distract me these days... Good luck on the project. You might ask Rob to throw in some of those cello wrapped wonders that he has got posted on another thread! Now that would make the project really interesting! Cheers. -the Pig
beamer Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Also looking forward to the results here. Great idea for a thread.
CanuckSARTech Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Interesting. But, since I'm not tasting them too.... meh. Cheers. Good luck, bud. Let me know if you find the one with the missing-cigar-of-death explosive in it.
sw15825 Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Thanks for this work!! I just picked up a box of 54s from Aug 12, Looking forward to results.
Ptowncigar Posted March 8, 2013 Posted March 8, 2013 Yes, great project. I'm on the fence as to buy a box of the 52s and I am curious if the 12 are worth the cash.
MC4 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 What was the outcome of the project? Where there any conclusions? I was really looking forward to see the results.
polarbear Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Interesting Results Didnt see them coming, If i'm honest http://thedirtyashes.wordpress.com/2013/04/02/the-cohiba-behike-project-final-results/
MC4 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Interesting Results Didnt see them coming, If i'm honest http://thedirtyashes...-final-results/ Thanks for the link. And thanks to Maverick for the project.
almudawi Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Interesting result! Thanks for the shift you've put in mate. I have always been under the impression that the first release was the best one. Hence. I have never considered buying a box. It seems that this will change after reading your findings. Cheers buddy

Cheers buddy I've been in the same boat Now re-thinking my stance on them Might be time for a box of 52's, me thinks
braveheart655 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Thanks for all the reviews for this project. Frankly, the most surprising result for me was the performance of 2012 production. Seeing how people are praising the original 2010 release and I had such bad luck with 3 BHK 52s that I smoked from 3 different boxes, I was sure that 2012 production would be down to drain
Surucipe Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Thanks a lot for taking the effort to do this project, the results are truly interesting! Have a box of BHK 52's which I thought would need a lot more sleep but I guess I'll be digging them up out of the cooler this summer already. Thanks again!
braveheart655 Posted April 8, 2013 Posted April 8, 2013 Btw Art, any chance of adding the factory codes to the list as well?
