Puros Y Vino Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Found this on a website and wondered if these are real???? Yes. They're called postage stamps. Can you find larger pictures?
Diamondog Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Cohiba Reserva Seleccion 2003 yes, this no....never seen a box in plastic wrap like that either....does look like some good packaging though...
Ryan Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I have never seen that round "Vendido en Cuba" stamp on a box of authentic cigars and I've seen the bottoms of hundreds of boxes for sale in Cuba. It's not the only thing wrong the box, heat-shrink wrap, date, date font etc. They are counterfeit. 100% Has anybody every seen that "Vendido en Cuba" stamp on an authentic box?
Puros Y Vino Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Never seen anything like it. Any more details?
rock Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 Found this on Ebay!!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cohiba-ceder-box-/111008421303?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item19d89e15b7
rock Posted February 8, 2013 Author Posted February 8, 2013 The guy I talked to is from Cuba and brought them back from Cuba supposibly????
Vcool Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 They're about as real as the word supposibly.... What surprises me is that this guy seems to have alot of positive feedback on ebay selling some cigars... if he is selling these as legit, he clearly doesnt know what he's talking about... I dont think there was a 1966-2007 Esplendido Grand Reserva... its not that hard to figure that out... so how can anyone know anything he sells is legit?
nick17 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 the packaging looks rely well done and would go so far as to say i would like to have the box but definitely fake...
Trevor2118 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Bad Fake.........box, stamps, warrenty seal, all wrong.....and cigar does not exist.
gigabyte056 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Reported him to E bay. Funny thing is, he is supposedly located in NY...
Jnaube Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Funny to think all the work that went in the fabrication on this fake. Box looks still nice. I wonder what's the yearly amount generated by fakes sold in Cuba.... And the number of headaches caused by these cigars too...
mk05 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 smoke them...only way to find out if they are real...then split them down the middle and show us the banana leaves.
Vcool Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 Typing fast "supposably" I was going to rag on you for that not being an actual word, but apparently it is in american english.. go figure, the more you know.
Colt45 Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 ....apparently it is in american english.. supposedly true.......
Vcool Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 not used in the right context but it is apparently a word, my mind is still blown! there was a word I didn't know!
sengjc Posted February 8, 2013 Posted February 8, 2013 I don't think the 2003 Cohiba Seleccion Reserva 30's came in a black lacquered box - squarish, natural varnish much like the usual Cohibas, with cardboard outer and a little humidifier inside too.
