Coloniales Posted January 28, 2013 Share Posted January 28, 2013 Was at a presentation by Simon Chase, back in 2010. He made it on Havanas since the 1880's or thereabouts. The time period above, was a classic for the 42/43 ring gauge Parejos. This lasted into the ealy 80's. Back at the end of the 19th century and up to the 1930's, double figurados were all the rage. I have seen many spectacular vitolas from that era. Now, the vogue, like it or not is for 50+ ring gauge cigars. Personally i like the 50-54 cigars, not exclusively, but I do like them.
