Jason55555 Posted June 27, 2012 Posted June 27, 2012 I just got my new GQ in the mail wow Kate Upton and had to clean my clubs for a round the next day so I sat down with a Montecristo No.2 box code OGA-AG-11 a glass of 12 YR Eldorado Rum and decided to give it one last shot. I reviewed this cigar cupple of months ago and was not too impressed with it( as you can see from the link... http://www.friendsof...=1), I actually thought I would never touch another one again until a new 2012-2013 batch comes out of Cuba of I get a PSP box. I've already had 4 mehhhh experiances with them so was hassitent to try another one. Wow did it deliver this cigar was amazing dark coffee,cream,wood,sweetness, dark rich espresso, and milk chocolate. Man I'm sorry I ever called this cigar overrated in my last review this cigar is AMAZING , I guess the ones I had just weren't good this one was just eye opening too bad its so hard finding one that's on. ***My local guy had a box of nice dark Monte 2's from 2010 was gotta pick up a few for this long weekend anyone know if the 10's are smoking good/tasted M2's with a box code of 10 or can recommend a good year/box code? I had a very similar experience reviewing a PLM ABR11 monte 2 a few months back when it was disappointing whereas when I revisited a few days ago it was a totally different cigar. Gone were the powerful tannins, leather, earth anf not much else and instead I had milk, coffee, cocoa, and cream and paired well with the Kronenbourg 1664 that I was drinking. I nubbed it and have been thinking about how good it was ever since. Oodles of smokr medium to medium/full bodied and just class. I love Montecristo generally and believe that the no.2's require more patience than some are prepared to give. Top marks. Cheers Graham

Ken Gargett Posted June 28, 2012 Posted June 28, 2012 seriously? are you blokes idiots? videos of women in the tiniest of bikinis dancing about (personally, i have no problem at all with that in the right setting - and if you want porn, well you are already on the internet and it ain't that hard to find) with absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with cigars? we do have some female members. do you just want to drive them away? instead of whinging about your missing porn (soft as it might have been), try apologising. the original post, in its entirity, may have been inappropriate but the following one with the video (since removed) was simply braindead. and the only reason the member who posted it was not suspended for a period was that other moderators are more tolerant than myself. what the mods are thinking is that it is a pain in the arse having to deal with morons. i hope that clears it up.
Jason55555 Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 Agreed the video was out of line and should be deleted, my picture was just what I had around me which was a magazine I was reading a GQ, which is hardly considered soft porn, and golf clubs. I guess the lesson is to make sure not to take pictures of women around or near cigars unless they are fully covered head to toe, I've pm the mod and after listing to his reasoning I understand the reasoning behind ppl posting nonsense after seeing a picture of a small background pix of a girl so no more pix of women and cigars anywhere in the background or forefront.

Jason55555 Posted June 28, 2012 Author Posted June 28, 2012 LOL ok np and I +1 with you on the video which was not mine, like I said I talked to the mod and understand the reasoning behind it now since there was previous problems, I thought my pix wouldn't violate any rules since last time logged in the rotating pix at the top was a girl with a Cohiba BHK 52 in between her (you know what) and a bottle of Dom, while mine was just a cigar on top of a GQ with Upton on it. That's only reason I believed mine was in line with form rules, I but guess a post is a diff story from a banner picture because ppl can post nonsense after your post, live and learn lol. Yes the reasoning behind it: I've never run into this problem ever and as a newer member I guess I'm entitled to know why and after had a chat I've respected the mod's idea and i'll make sure it wont happen again on my end, and I have listed to KG "for me, yours was borderline and i was not too fussed" it was the video that another member posted that he had a problem with. Once again last time I checked a point which no one want to talk about is the BHK 52 inside girls stuff and Dom P picture, I hope canadianbeaver that you are equally offended by that picture on the rotating gallery, as you are of my review picture that happened to have a GQ (Gentlemen Quarterly) that came in the mail on the table with my golf clubs. My focus was the Monte 2 and secondly the GQ laying there as a side note like I said next time I'll make sure there are no magazines with women on them are close by.

Did you even see the picture in question, your post coming 18 hours after the fact? It was a magazine cover, less risque than maybe a hundred others ive seen standing in line at the supermarket on WOMEN'S magazines of all things. I understand the mods taking it down due to the referenced video in poor taste. But for you to crucify this guy and infer that he should choose another forum over something you probably didnt even see, seems in incredibly poor taste and smacks of trying to curry favor.

And that wasnt just any Cohiba mind you!... I do think the Video should have been removed regardless of howmuch i enjoyed it, it really had no relevance to cigars, however, no need to pull the picture with the magazine cover..
