In the title of the thread name the cigar and state in the topic description: Cigar Review Competition. Every detailed cigar review receives a ticket in the draw. Detailed reviews with pictures receive two tickets. I am looking forward to reading reviews of what is currently ticking your fancy

Preferably but if it is a favourite...revisit it. i don't want a flood of reviews by any one member. Reviews should be relatively detailed and written from experiences this week. Not past reviews

Just wondering. Art it is the most active of forums on FOH and it is easy to transfer the reviews to the Cigar Review section on Monday.

It seems more are doing "lets review every cigar I have, especially the expensive ones to get more tickets for the draw" and less of revisiting favorites. Maybe I'm wrong, just throwing that out there. I think you're right, it's quantity over quality with the amount of reviews right now, but it's still a good incentive to get some more content on the forum. But like you, I wish people would review their absolute favorites in a review that explains why to go back to this cigar time and again.

If the review is good enough, it should explain why someone keeps coming back to it without having to say "I come back to this cigar because of A B C D"
CanadianKodiak Posted May 23, 2012 Posted May 23, 2012 As someone fairly new to the hobby I love this idea. It gives guys like me ideas to try new brands and flavours that I may have passed over.
