asmith Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 A bit of a sleeper of a cigar, hasn't been the most popular the guys want to see if it has evolved since its release. 1
El Presidente Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Artie has a taste for them, he is onto his second box post video :rotfl: Good to have Artie on board. Nice work leading the panel Smithy. Don't call us.....we will call you.

Don't call us.....we will call you. How's your form, you couldn't let go of the lead, always cutting in. I'm not sure I want to work with this team!
mazolaman Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Interesting stuff, never realised that these are made with a view to long term aging. Interesting to note that they only test approx 60% of cigars....that explains how the plugged ones still get through.
NJP Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Nice review gents. I will put these on the seek list. Smithy it must be like playing back yard cricket with the single child. His bat his ball, rules that change and the game is over when he says so. Soldier on mate.

Habanakane21 Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Baby steps Smithy....baby steps. Older people have so much knowledge to offer...just be a sponge!!! Good review though. Based on that..I think I'll get some singles. Thanks fella's
riazp Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 great review guys, good job all around, looks like good times were had.
CaptainQuintero Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Loved it guys, I think facing each other made all the difference, looked a lot less formal and more like the sunday sessions at Ken's place. Loved the t-shirt Ken!
CanuckSARTech Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Hey Rob, just be happy that it was Smithy's phone that rang with the second phone call, and not Ken's....
CaptainQuintero Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Nah I love when Ken's phone rings in a vid Serious face-"Kenny Gargett"
Ken Gargett Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 How's your form, you couldn't let go of the lead, always cutting in. I'm not sure I want to work with this team! a true leader would have taken control. can you imagine churchill squibbing it like smithy did? i felt lost, no direction. i think it impacted on the cigar - how could we get the best from it in those circumstances? cimino did better in 'heaven's gate'.
kaleehb Posted January 25, 2012 Posted January 25, 2012 Nice review! Still not sure if I want to pick up some in a sampler though.....
dicko Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 How's your form, you couldn't let go of the lead, always cutting in. I'm not sure I want to work with this team! someone find the "It's all about me" sound bite haha
OZCUBAN Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Great review guys Love the Juan Lopez marque ,have had only a couple of these ,but tend to agree its a medium to long term prospect Cheers OZ
Ken Gargett Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 thank god they are fun afternoons, given the dodgy cigars he keeps trying to get us to flog for him.
Scdalak Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 Wow might have to try a few of these, didnt expect such a positive review..
ckearns Posted January 26, 2012 Posted January 26, 2012 thank god they are fun afternoons, given the dodgy cigars he keeps trying to get us to flog for him. Hilarious!
winelover Posted January 27, 2012 Posted January 27, 2012 Enjoyed it too. Well done Smithy I thought you did well in the circumstances. Hoping for a regular cigar review soon. G
tempbond Posted February 2, 2012 Posted February 2, 2012 Why does Artie look like he shortened by a foot at around 8 minutes when he changes places with Ken ? What is he sitting on ?
