El Presidente Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Read this while in your head playing the music intro to the old comedy "Soap" This week on Soap Queen Bee Lisa had left the fortress three weeks ago passing the batton to highly competent and delightful sister Diana, the impressive Smithy and the incompetent moron boss Rob (rumour abounds he is the base for "The Office" series). Now if we were an Olympic 4 x 100m team.....Lisa passed the batton flawlessly to Diana who passed it flawlessly to Smithy who passed it to Rob who fell over and is still tripping Rob receives a nice big batch of Ramon Allones Extra. He checks the Lisa list backorders .....no problem ....and puts them on the Summer Sale Program because hell...there are plenty to go around Rob responds to keith and Cronus on the thread that all backorders are fine.....don't worry...tranquillo! Unfortunately...it is brought to Rob's attention by the delightfull Di that there is a page 2 of backorders he may not have considered. He should.....they were attached to ....well...page 1. Normally it is Lisa's role to prep the sales programms. Well I prepare them and she checks them and pulls this and that. Easy. This one was all my own work. It has my fingerprints all over them What I did was immediatley pull the RAE from the promo and limit all backorders to one box each. I am still not sure it has worked out as we had sales in the promo we could not fill. Brilliant.....you idiot. Meanwhile.....an anonymous Aussie Shitstirrer (Fuzz) who had ordered from the promo sends an e-mail in jest to Di....stating that non fullfillment of the order was a breach of the Australian Consumer and Competition Commission stating that we were in breach of the Consumer Protection And Competition Laws. Now Di doesn't know Fuzz from Fonzie. She began hyperventilating until Smithy read the e-mail and pointed out Fuzz was second in line to FOH village Idiot behind Ken In the end I think we have worked most of it out. If there is an issue please PM me direct and I will look after it for you. What I can say in glorious certainty is that IT WAS ALL MY FAULT! I should have checked with Lise on the phone, should have tripple checked the numbers and then I wouldn't have put it on the promo. Sincere apologies from Dufus maximus. We have most things covered here but there are missteps along the transition way but this is one I could have avoided. For all those affected, I can't apologise enough. PM me and I will make it up to you one way or another. And apologies to Di who is working tireless 12 hour days, 6 days a week in good humour and charm. She is filling big shoes and doing it marvelously. I didn't need to put you through this honey.

What I said was that I would be contacting the ACCC for "misleading & deceptive conduct" in promoting a product that was unavailable! Though I do have to admit, the little jester emoticon did drop off the email I sent back. Will be hiding beneath my desk when Lisa hears about this and have asked my co-workers to hold all calls from Lisa!!

Medium-Full, great roasted nut flavors, voluminous smoke, great right down to the nub. I will definitely pick up another box this coming week on my business trip to Zurich. Gents, they are well worth the wait once Prez works out his allocation!
