Nice review on a great little cigar.

Nice to see Ken back out there in fine form dressed as if he is ready to join in on a march of the penguins in Antartica.

I alway seem to get some of the best sound bites from good old Kenny

"Something more expensive when I said good"

"Pissy little thing"

"If it was bigger I'd buy it"

"See honey"

"Back end does not match the front"

Was he talking about a cigar or quoting a cheap hooker looking for a sugar daddy??

He was in fine form indeed ;)

He gets shitty when I bring a small format cigar. Thankfully the follow up cigar to this one was more his style. I couldn't have handled any more whinging :D

Despite the agro that you get Ken from one or two members, (slight elongation of the truth) love the colour that you add to every post and review. ;)

Does not hurt being a true Gunners fan !!! :):):)

Been torn between buying a box of these or SCDLH El Principes. Any suggestions on which one is more suitable to smoke at an (I'm assuming) earlier age?

Very different cigars.

If you gravitate toward Partagas/Bolivar/Ramon allones then the BPC

If you gravitate toward Diplomatico, HDM, SLR then SCLP.

The BPC is one of my favourites.

I´ve found boxes from 06,07 and 08 needing some age before being enjoyable. The 09 and 10´s I´ve smoked have been already great when fresh.

A very consistent cigar with tremendous potential and value if you ask me. :cigar:

Very entertaining review as always guys. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Rob, I've always wondered about the quality of cigar you use for the reviews. Would you say you typically use a PE, HQ or a PSP when selecting for the reviews?

As a rule I choose good standard PE stock.

Bolivar it is then! :P Just finished watching the review (had to bring the gf to work when I posted my question) and you actually mentioned they're very approachable young. It's a shame I can't really age any of my cigars in my current humidor due to a lack of space and a high weekly smoking average  Maybe I'll get lucky and find a '9/'10 box somewhere (which I doubt) :P

Thanks for the advice!

Adding it to the wish list. Ive Began to enjoy my cab from '08, but now I'm tempted to try the new batch.

Pres, as a general question, have you seen the quality of all fresh Cuban cigars improve compared to 2 or 3+ years ago?

Quality is up but still the variation month to month, box to box defies belief. Quality is a bell curve. If comparing what we were seeing in 2007 to 2011 then the curve is skewed a little further to the right (quality). At least it is going in the right direction.

Unfortunately, there are no longer any Partagas or Ramon Allones Petit Coronas. But fortunately, for all of us who love full-bodied cigars, there is still the Bolivar Petit Corona. And it's a grand survivor, probably the best in this format still available.

Did Kenny G. have a cold?

Nice review. BPC are my top favourite afternoon smokes

How does the PC comapre to the CE?

Does the CE manage to capture the full Bolivar flavour as well?

Personally, I find that the CJ, PC, CE, and CG all share similar "family" traits, and I enjoy them all.

Hello Fellow FOHers',

Another fun video review. Well, by now we all certainly know Ken does not like the smaller format cigars! Ken, can you enlighten us with what cigars are on your tops list?

Thank you,

Curtiss
