We are progressively finding out which Cuban Cigar has the highest rate of member satisfaction (and the lowest). I will run through the 30 most popular cigars during April/May/June and will provide an ongoing chart to see how the cigars stack up.

It should go without saying to only vote if you have actually tried one :rotfl:

ah, The Dragon I have been chasing since 97

These have had their ups and downs (mostly) downs since then. The 08's were/are suburb and I expect the 09's will be also.

It's only the best darn double corona coming out of Cuba today.

Currently my favorite double corona, always a treat. I wonder if part of it has to do with the fact that I only get to smoke them when I am in full relaxation mode.

I used to smoke a lot of the Lusi. Can't remember having a bad one.

Havent had a GREAT Lusi since my mid 90's were gone. I took a chance on an 09 Cab and the first two were like a 2 hour cigarette! Sent three out to FOH members and got same feedback. I am hoping the 45 left will develop into something smokable in 3-5 years as no need to touch em now!

Hard call here. Pre 95s some of the best cigars I've ever had. 97 through 07 bland & boring (Yes I've had every year) 08s fantastic. 09 back to bland & boring. I'm buying 08s & giving it an overall average vote.

Sad to hear the 09's aren't smoking the best. My first ever trial with these was a 10 pack and they were 09. A few so far are a little too tight of a draw, but the depth of flavor I would hope is there, just hasn't appeared yet. I will just let these rest for longer and hope they get better.

I've only smoked a few Lusi's so I don't feel comfortable casting a vote on this

The 2001 I smoked was probably the most bland and light cigar I've ever smoked. Had an 08 that was probably the best DC I've ever had. Smoked a few others that were good, but nothing that made we feel like a had to go out and get some more.

I've had a couple from a PSP 2010 box. Excellent construction, great flavour profile. My only issue is with relights. I've needed 3-5 relights to enjoy this epic cigar. On the positive side, I nubbed both so the relights were worth it. I'll let them sit another 6 months before I dive in again and see how it performs.

I need to try my '04 cab. Probably my 09s as well. Every one I have had has drawn well, burned well and tasted good. I will admit I have not had any in quite a long time. I got the 09s to smoke to evaluate and never tried one.

What's your humidity? Try dry boxing one for a day or two before smoking.

My humidor hovers from 65-68 RH. Other cigars from the same humidor don't behave this way. My last Lusitania sat in my travel humidor for about 4 hours before I smoked it. That's not exactly a day, but a pretty good "dry boxing as my travel humi has no humidifier. My RyJ Churchills suffer from the same affliction. Other big cigars I smoke don't. Maybe it's the way I'm smoking them? Usually I single puff with the odd double puff. I maybe take a draw every 30s to 1m.

Had a few from 09, while not WOW, but still very good and enjoyable, espescially since I always smoke them at the in-laws...150 minutes of peace and quiet
