For those of you into zombies, read "World War Z" by Max Brooks. It is simply awesome. There's a movie under production too. Probably the most epic zombie story ever. Worldwide in scale and told in an interesting way. Also, and Cracked.com they had an article on a plausible zombie apocalypse. It had to do with some kind of bacteria that eats away at the human brain, leaving the more "savage" parts intact.

Lat I had heard it had run into big problems and was on the verge of being scrapped. We asked George Romero about it when we did an interview with him last year and he seemed to give the same impression, shame if it doesn't come out.
