‘03 Hoyo Piramides EL - Lately I’ve been digging deep through my boxes looking for gems from many years ago. I had forgotten these for a long time. It’s been years since I smoked one. The better EL’s smoked great fresh including these beautiful cigars. Cocoa, espresso, mocha goodness. Another that hasn’t seemed to change even after more than 20 years. Wild.

Its been a journey and a half but the little Fab 5 factory crew is rolling out some great cigars. Hamlet is over the moon with taste and quality. I will post up on FOH when everything is in the US available for shipping. It will be a few weeks away (need some clarification on Tariff situation after yesterdays ruling) but everything from the the new Sovereign Sun Half Corona to the Churchills, Fat Fundy, Piramides, Robusto Trinity will be there. The future is looking bright

Wow, found a box of these in the storage bins. Smoking a dream now. I know I’m in the minority because I enjoy RyJ and an EL on top. Horror! 😁 I’m really enjoying this one. No flaws.

I went to Madrid with my gf last weekend to celebrate my birthday. Decided to visit a couple of Cavas and found this: 3 x PL Leones (one for my brother) BRM SEP 23 1 x RG Perlas 1 x LGC M4 EBP AUG 24 1 x Montecristo No. 1 URT SEP 24 It was a very nice weekend, but definitely could have spent two more days.

Nice weekend, no particular occasion (except I am not getting younger), so smoking my Holy Grail. Cohiba 1966. What a sublime cigar.

Phoenix is warming up. The pool is finally over 80°F so I’m willing to get in it now! 😂

2000 Partagas Piramides EL - one of the original four Edición Limitadas. These were phenomenal at release and about the same now if my recollection can be trusted. It’s hard to improve on perfection. Sublime first puff to last. Such a rare treat.

These Upman #2 may be the best looking box I've acquired in a long time. EPO DIC 24. It looks as if availability of Cuban cigars is improving but prices are outrageous. The only consolation is the quality of the few recent boxes I added to my stash is first class plus.
