An RE Friday with @Nate Chu C&C for a Saturday morning with this Sir Winston from 03. Today is going to be great if this cigar is anything to judge it by. What a super smooth star

First cigar of the year.

Grass! And it's green!

I'm out here in the desert on the west-coast, so no snow, no storms but it's cold and DRY! I'm feeling it in my throat and shopping for humidifiers inside the house 😆

Some recents…

Te-Amo Toro - really good rebrand.

RoMa Craft Cromagnon - disappointingly “unbold.”

Padrón Diplomatico - speaks for itself, but no real strength (who smokes what to find Padrón’s “strong?!?!”).

Casa Turrent 1880 Colorado Doble Robusto - yet another excellent Mexican puro.

Tatuaje 10th Bon Chasseur - okay smoke, until the tar ruined it.

Vegueros Centrofinos - meh, I’ll take any number of mid level NC over this CC any day of the week.

Oliva Serie V Belicoso - this is one mid level cigar that is leagues better than the above…

Brother, you have excellent taste. Te amo is so nostalgic to me as that’s what my father and grandfather smoked. Casa Turrent is super niche brand; only 15 workers. The Rosado 4x60 is box worthy.

Thanks! 🙂 Early on, I used to smoke the solid red band Te-Amo cigars a lot because almost everything else I could get to smoke literally had no taste. Perhaps that is what formed my desire for spicy, earthy cigars.

I’ve searched for the Rosado you’ve recommended, but it appears the US availability is pretty non-existent. I’ll keep searching as I enjoy that vitola…thanks for the head’s up!
