laficion Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Hello everyone, Just back last night from a fantastic 4 days trip in Germany where, Monique & I were greeted by Nino (Nino's flying cigar), Inge, his wife, Andreas and all the Pharmacy cigar guys at Worrstadt. The event started as soon as we got there, great foods, great wines and great cigars. During our stay, we visited so many Interesting and wonderful places that I would not know where to start and to top things off, the weather was great, sunny & blue sky all the 4 days. There were friends coming in from all around , USA, all parts of Germany, France, Italy, Austria,Ukraine, Switzerland, etc. One of the best part of the trip was to finnally meet up with Nino, but also to meet and get to know our Italian brother, Gino( Mr JAPAN) and his lovely wife, Anna. They are the two most generous and welcoming persons I have ever met, also Nino's friend, Chris, who was driving us everywhere and has become a friend. Then there was Andreas, who is a true fun loving guy. Kind , generous and welcoming. Andreas is a courageous man, when you think of all the cigar smoking people he had at his Pharmacy on night duty.Nino & Andreas live in one of the most beautiful places in Germany. The village is surrounded by vineyards and breathtaking landscapes. The cigars we smoked during the last 4 days were just as fantastic. Here is just an example, Deadimas rolled by Yolanda for dinner, ER Bolivar Colosales, thanks to Don Walter, great CANEY 7 years rum & Hoyo's at the LCDH , Frankfurt, RyJ short Churchill and Bolivar corona extras from Nino, etc. There were great cigars at the Pharmacy smoking night, Lusitanias that were gifted by Mr. Portmann, 1998 Punch churchill & ERdM, PC by Ralf and the PL ER petit corona for the Asia/Pacific gifted by Andreas. Plus many more. How can all this be sumed up in a few words ? Well, I 'll try, Nino, thank you for your friendship, your cigars & wines but also the German organizer in you. Andreas, thank you for your humor and welcoming generousity. Gino & Anna, thank you for your Italian wit and a true BOTL generousity. A big thank you to all the Pharmacy guys for the warm welcome we all recieved. A great 4 days of fun and friendship, thanks again, to the almighty cigar for the power of bringing people together and creating true friendship. Here are a few pics. that I took with a lousy camera, If you wish to see more plus the cigar bus tour, go to Nino's site, http://www.flyingcigar.de/smoking_cigars/2...oke_preview.php Monique & Chris on the right Monique my wife Worms on the Rhine River Me at Jordan's Kolb's in Worms Nino's village, Worrstadt Nino,Monique, Gino & Anna , in Worms Worms Cathedral Bensheim Don Walter BOLIVAR ER's Nino & my cigar Andreas's Pharmacy Lunch at Sachsenhausen Gino & Anna LCDH Frankfurt

Hey Greg, You know that I love you man, but I would like to see you come out with Pics. like that with the dinky toy camera I had I want to thank you for going through the wine tasting with me, It sure was an INTERESTING tasting to say the least.
