El Presidente Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 These should be available July. Smithy classifies the red as "Ox Blood Red" and he is pretty spot on.

kilroy Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 OMG my cup runneth over! Will they come in boxes of 100?!
rckymtn22 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Wow, they are sure improving the look of their tubos. Will have to add one to the collection.
El Presidente Posted March 10, 2009 Author Posted March 10, 2009 How many segments in the tube cap? Tres Drole
Lanthor Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Good marketing here, pretty easy value add for HSA, 3-pack I assume. Prez, do you all plan on getting the Mag 50 and 46 tubos as well?
Ginseng Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Yup, Going to have to bring in a few of these babies. But the real question is how they'll smoke. I've been spoiled by the 2006 release which I've been hoarding and smoking in a most miserly way. Wilkey

sounddust Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Very classy, although Simon Bolivar looks like one of those Chinese medicine men usually found on ointment bottles.
Tampa1257 Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Very nice, I bet a box of 25 are absolutely stunning!
Punch Joe Posted March 10, 2009 Posted March 10, 2009 Very classy, although Simon Bolivar looks like one of those Chinese medicine men usually found on ointment bottles. YOU GOT THAT RIGHT!
Professor Twain Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Beautiful. Smithy are you ready to add these to the 12 Tubos of Christmas 2009 Edition?
bolivr Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 They're not a screw-cap - how tight is the seal? and is there risk of the cap being pushed too far down and crushing the cigar?
beachcougar Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 Very nice. Thanks for the pics Rob. I will definitely be picking some of these up.
Colt45 Posted March 11, 2009 Posted March 11, 2009 They're not a screw-cap - how tight is the seal? and is there risk of the cap being pushed too far down and crushing the cigar? A similar tube is used for the RyJ short churchill. The seal is tight, with somewhat of a vacuum like effect. As for crushing the cigars, there is a slight ridge in the barrel of the tube that the cap stops against. Unless you try using a robusto tube to carry a churchill, you'd be hard pressed to crush your cigar.
