Evening all,

I stumbled across this website, and I really wish I would have found this place much sooner! I really look forward to getting to know everybody and learning more about my newly found love of Habanos.

I was recently in Barbados, where I tried a Montecristo (don't know the number) and a Cohiba (don't know the type -- but it was small and pretty narrow). I absolutely loved both of them!

Anyway, thanks for listening...

Nice to have you with us!

Psst - Watch out for that guy in the tutu doing his impression of Pit and The Pendulum....... :lookaround:

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

Rob -- my best guess is that the Montecristo was a #2. Whatever it was, I loved it. The Cohiba tasted great, but it definitely had some draw issues.

I'm afraid this is all too true! I already feel that way about non-Cubans, so I can only imagine what it's like with the real thing!

Welcome!

I'm glad to know about Barbados. My wife and I spent 10 days there a few years ago and loved it. I's also my ancestral home which may explain my attraction to rum. ;-) At the time, I was not into cigars let alone Habanos. All the more reason to return now.
