DWM1918 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Evening all, I stumbled across this website, and I really wish I would have found this place much sooner! I really look forward to getting to know everybody and learning more about my newly found love of Habanos. I was recently in Barbados, where I tried a Montecristo (don't know the number) and a Cohiba (don't know the type -- but it was small and pretty narrow). I absolutely loved both of them! Anyway, thanks for listening...
El Presidente Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Welcome DMW! Not sure of No's? vitola's? No problem! Ken doesn't either ;-)
Ken Gargett Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 welcome. and rob, you promised to explain vitola to me!
shrink Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 I really wish I would have found this place much sooner! In less than a year you'll wish you had never stumbled into this hell on earth.
sepp Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 » In less than a year you'll wish you had never stumbled into this hell on earth. But the slight insanity of it all helps keep out the riff raff... Howdy and Welcome to FOH!

Nice to have you with us! Psst - Watch out for that guy in the tutu doing his impression of Pit and The Pendulum.......
DWM1918 Posted November 13, 2008 Author Posted November 13, 2008 Thanks for all the warm welcomes. Rob -- my best guess is that the Montecristo was a #2. Whatever it was, I loved it. The Cohiba tasted great, but it definitely had some draw issues. » In less than a year you'll wish you had never stumbled into this hell on » earth. I'm afraid this is all too true! I already feel that way about non-Cubans, so I can only imagine what it's like with the real thing!
Hangfire Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Welcome! I'm glad to know about Barbados. My wife and I spent 10 days there a few years ago and loved it. I's also my ancestral home which may explain my attraction to rum. ;-) At the time, I was not into cigars let alone Habanos. All the more reason to return now.
Tampa1257 Posted November 13, 2008 Posted November 13, 2008 Welcome to FOH mate, and you will soon learn about what a Cuban draw is. hehehe:-D
