handyman dave Posted May 16, 2008 Posted May 16, 2008 Hello to everyone! I am a 57 year old handyman living in Harrisburg PA. I do almost anything in the area of construction or repairs and custom build furniture from Windsor chairs to built-in cabinets. I have done many things in my life from hospital lab tech & autopsy tech, laborer on the Alaska pipeline, AFF skydiving instructor and jumpmaster, clock repair technical writer & instructor, Certified Master Clockmaker, retailer, and was an ordained United Methodist minister. One of these days I need to figure out what I'm going to do when I grow up! ;-) I have been smoking cigars for many years but have gotten increasingly serious over the past few years and my humidors now threaten the storage space in my workshop! I look forward to getting to know you more and seeing what I can contribute to this fellowship.

Yes. Nothing fancy to date but lots of functional capacity. I have just acquired a stock of Spanish Cedar and am contemplating a fancy cabinet project at the moment. He's also quite a handyman and I bet you'd get some great ideas to make some humidors. Check out his posts!
