Tacos Imperiales dissected

Yup - crazy with a razor knife.

Package taped back up and labeled cleared - very cruel, not sure why they just did not keep package unless it was to send another message.

Man bud I am so sorry. That breaks my heart.

DO NOT, however, toss them. At least, I wouldn't. You can have them rerolled with another wrapper, even binder, at some cigar shops. Or smoke them out of a pipe. Or **** send some cut ones to me and I'll make it up to you.;-)

That is just cruel.

I had the same thing happen to a package from Canada a few years ago. They just sliced through the box, cutting across the 4 cigars. Then they sent the package through with no warning or anything.

That's a real shame, and would be a loss with any cigars...

But the Tacos Imperiales? Man, that's heartwrenching.

Greenpimp's right. I believe that there are rollers who can put these back together again. They won't be the beauties that they once were, but they'll taste good.

I hope that your vendor will stand behind this loss.

Good god. That makes me feel queasy just looking at it. Terribly sorry for the interception. This does seem to be getting more common. I've seen a few cases in the last 6 months.

On the upside, looks like a swarthy blend with plenty of ligero.

Wilkey

Damn thats ugly.

Leters appear to be a thing of the past. Interceptions either lead to a destruction or re-sealing of parcel and onforwarding intact. Go figure.

Happens on any given day out of the blue. Pure numbers game.

Look forward to the day when no-one has to worry about this retarded policy.

Sorry to hear about your loss. I really hope your H.Upmann Antigua Humidor arrives in a better manor... or would they chop that one up with a chainsaw?

I agree with that. If this ever happened to me I would still find a way to smoke that tobacco. :-D

And, really, I don't understand why Customs bothers with this. The tobacco is still smokable. They are still sending an "illegal" product through to the consumer that can still be consumed. It's a pointless, unnecessary, and cruel maneuver. Why is it not good enough to just seize the cigars? I don't understand why this sort of thing is allowed.
