Ken Gargett Posted March 11, 2008 Posted March 11, 2008 not that i'm saying (or posting - note that, please rob) a thing but guess which photo has been to the shop. and sadly, that small fish was far more common than real ones. not that it wasn't fun. i might add that the kiss was for the first fish of the trip. not that i'm posting anything but it was caught about ten minutes after we kicked off. rob's reel had exploded so while fernando spent our first hour covered in line (and i didn't even take a photo, which i thought good form), i wandered a few yeards downstream, where fernando said there was nothing, to practice a few casts and lo and behold...

One of Kens Best Nice little Brown Lunch every day was a treat. Great little spot. Brown Trout in the open water. Carefully ....slowly. Tragedy. First cast of the final day...hooked my trout of the week only to see it go for cover under the reeds and my 5 weight loomis snap above the cork. My personal best fish of the week.
