gostgost Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 OK lets hear it who's winning Gents? I'm with the Giants...................... GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
gehrig24 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Being a Cowboys fan I just cannot bring myself to root for the Giants. I know the logic is to see the team that beat you win it all but I can not get there.
ucla695 Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 I'm pulling for the underdogs in this one, but I think they'll have to fire on all cylinders to have a shot against the scoring machine that is the Patriots. They'll have to put a LOT of pressure on Brady, Eli will have to perform flawlessly and special teams will have to execute. Taking advantage of a turnover or two can't hurt either.:-) That said, I think it's the Pats game to lose.

anacostiakat Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 » OK lets hear it who's winning Gents? » » I'm with the Giants...................... GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, as a long suffering Redskins fan here is my spin: Unless the game is a blowout I look forward to it for two reasons. 1 - The Patriots can make history. 2 - The Giants have the opportunity to knock them off. I love a dog! That is about it for me.
El Presidente Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 You can't be an Aussie and not go for the underdog! I would love to be giving the Giants pre game speach....."You come here today to make up the numbers....the front pages for tomorrows newspapers have already been written....your foe no longer dreams but packs his kit believing that today, he will stand shoulder to shoulder with the immortals."
Guest josho2001 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I'm calling the Pat's by a field goal, it's gonna be a good game no matter what.
Thomas Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » I'm calling the Pat's by a field goal, it's gonna be a good game no matter » what. good call, I say by 7 or 10 in the past 6 or 7 games every team has played them like it was the superbowl, even when the pats weren't playing well and opposing team was, they pulled it off,,,,Brady has that talent, so does peyton manning,,,,Eli i'm not not too sure of.... I'll put a 3 pack of Cohiba Rubusto's on a win or lose if anyone's intrested.
Tampa1257 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I just have never liked the Pat's, so as long as the Giants win, the Buc's losing to them is understandable. So, go Giants!
trumpetchris Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 As an Eagles fan, I can't root for the Giants, as they can pretty much kiss me in nasty places. So, it's Tom Brady and the Patriots at my house.
jdbrown Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 I do not want the Pat's to be put on a pedestal. The 72 Dolphins did it the right way..Go Giants!
Toos63 Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » OK lets hear it who's winning Gents? » » I'm with the Giants...................... GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In all of my delusional grandeur I like the Raiders today. :-D Oh wait it's 2008 - screw the Pat's, GO GIANTS!
GoSteelers Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 » OK lets hear it who's winning Gents? » » I'm with the Giants...................... GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I always pull for the superior AFC in the Super Bowl. This year I just can't bring myself to do it though. The Patsys have definately made quite an accomplishment, they have had a very dominant season but, I am sick of hearing it and if they lose then maybe ESPN can go back to covering ALL teams! Greatest team ever? I don't think so, their division totaly sucked and the rest of the NFL was not that spectacular this year(the GIANTS are in SBXLII fir Christ sake!!!) Oh yeah and they CHEAT!!!
ucla695 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 What an incredible game..way more than I could have ever asked for. Congrats Giants!
El Presidente Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 WHAT A GREAT BLOODY GAME!!!!!!!! The play 4 minutes from time with Manning caught in the pocket was one of the best clutch pays I have seen.
Cal-Duck Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 » WHAT A GREAT BLOODY GAME!!!!!!!! » » The play 4 minutes from time with Manning caught in the pocket was one of » the best clutch pays I have seen. I's no doubt going to down as a classic. This was one of the best Suoer Bowls that I have seen in a while! LOVE IT!!!! As a San Diego Chargers fan I say "Way to go GIANTS!"

puros71 Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 Congrats to all NY Giants fans, the greatest Super Bowl game I have ever seen. Eli Manning last night came out of the shadow of his brother and proved he is one of the best qb's in the league. I wantd the Patriots to loose so bad. Yesterday NY wanted it more. :-)
Mel Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 » I do not want the Pat's to be put on a pedestal. The 72 Dolphins did it the » right way..Go Giants! Right on mate! It was a pleasure to see the "perfect Patriots" go down.
aavkk Posted February 4, 2008 Posted February 4, 2008 GO DOLPHINS... Therefore Go GIANTS!!!!!!! Still the only perfect season!!!
