Popular Post SMELTZ Posted November 13, 2024 Popular Post Posted November 13, 2024 Have my own business, servicing equipment in the food/grocery industry. 450 employees and growing as we move across all the US States acquiring as many companies as we can. Been doing this since I was 19 years old, 18 hours a day 7 days a week. Now at 53, I can relax a little, spend time with family, work 5 days and take off anytime I want. I love America, all my dreams have come true. The American dream is real my friends! 8

Being your own manager and the time flexibility is super great, at the same time the work never ends and the stress that comes with it. I have a small trading company that is specialized in Industrial parts (Valves, Fittings, Flanges..etc) here in Saudi Arabia to support the local Petrochemical companies during shutdown/maintenance. The only downside is some other trading companies who take parts on credit and later run into cash flow issue and delay the payments for many months. 2

Why not do both? You have the corporate train going, get the AI train going, and once that AI train starts going faster than the AI train, make the jump.

I hear it’s great money and not a lot of hours. Is it stressful? Do you need a high level of malpractice insurance due to the job? Had some wisdom teeth pulled out a few years ago and the oral surgeon gave me something to put me out but I’m not sure what it was. He was nice enough to chat with me for 20-minutes about the different things that were used in it and how it works etc. Having had two surgeries, I do have to say it’s such an interesting feeling when it’s injected into the IV and you can feel it first hitting your body before going out. And then there’s all the funny shit people do after they wake up. First surgery was in Highschool and when I woke up I tried to get out of bed, took off the gown and was buck naked and kept telling everyone I was leaving to go run a marathon, lol, even though I couldn’t walk because they just operated on my knee. Took them a bit to get me covered up and back in bed.

The best part of security is making IT and developer jobs harder! /s (they hate security)
