Very nice, Rob. Thanks for the delicious pictures!

God, why can't bowling groupies look like that?

dear rob,

good luck staying married, to any of your wives.

as for bowling groupies, that is the funniest thing i have ever heard. gee, here's a wild guess (and of course, things may be different in your neck of the woods) - if rugby is true to its public image of a game for private schoolboys and on (less so now but...) you have fit, rich, young, atheletic blokes running around in the sun compared with old fat bald broke blokes in weird smelly shoes lumbering down dark alleys (i'm only going by the sterotypes - i have never bowled so apols to those who do). can't think why attractive young women have not flooded the bowling alleys of the world.

unless of course you meant lawn bowling where dean merlo is the only bloke in australia playing said game who is under 60 (supposedly). why stunnimng women have not flooded to those grey power battlegrounds is anyone's guess.

Will try to catch you next time you're here in Singapore.

I am so sorry Haz. I sent you a text late on Friday night while I was at the Brix nightclub (Hyatt).

There may be a strong correlation between losing the phone and the Brix nightclub :-|

Rob, a lot of you trip updates tend to have a common theme (well many common themes.....wine, good food, late nights, chicks etc) but you always seem to manage to lose your phone. Do you just not want to be contacted?:-D You could always just turn it off!:-D

Phones are my kryptonite. Three PDA's in 120 days :surprised:

Picked up my new Samsung 900 D yesterday. It is small enough to live in my pocket......I hope.

I had a great long weekend in Singapore.....I must have as I put on 3 Kilo's in 4 days :surprised:

I love Singapore as I spent a lot of time there working in my Banking years. My great Sinapopore mates Manu, AK47 and JR are amongst the finest reprobates I know and they base themselves at the famous Singapore Cricket Club which is where the Singapore Sevens Rugby Tournament was held last weekend.....which was ostensibly the reason for my trip :lookaround:

Well, No morning finished before 5:30am, the food was magnificent, the company superb, I lost my 3 week old PDA phone, I caught up with Belicoso Fino and taught him the finer points of rugby (great to catch up with you BF:ok:, I had many cigars, and the flights to and from at the pointy end of the plane just finished it off nicely :-D

I wish I could say it was back to work today. Fortunately today is the biggest raceday in Australia with the running of the Melbourne Cup 3200m horse race which makes the Kentucky Derby look like a pony ride at a birthday party ;-) The entire country takes the day off from around 11am and parties hard before the race runs mid afternoon. After the race...no-one is in any shape to go back to work.

It will cap off a great Rugby weekend. There is something special about the sports and friendships.....VIVA Rugby! :-)
