The first and last NC ERDM I smoked. There was no doubt that cigar was the victor. This was about ten years ago, and the memory of it still makes me uncomfortable.

two years ago, i had a mag 46 that had friday afternoon written all over it. after a rush of actual work on a friday morning, i got home around two-ish and had a couple of hours to kill before picking my youngest after volleyball practice. so i pour myself a wee dram of single malt and fire up the mag in the backyard and chill.

green and spinny, with a hint of lay your sorry ass down.

i probably should have had lunch, although i could have sworn i did.

i did recover to get my kid from practice.

whoa, that could have ended badly...

I've smoked my share of Cazadores and have never been seriously buzzed by smoking one.

I have gotten nicotine sweats once: smoking a custom rolled Salomone.

I have gotten the room-spins once: smoking a young PSD3 EL.

I smoke the stronger stuff all the time, but ironically the last time I really felt the effects of the nicotine was with a Choix Supreme. That was a shocker since it's not known for it's power. It goes to show that a person's condition (empty stomach, etc) has a huge bearing.

i had one cuban cigar make me dizzy when i first started smoking them-cohiba pyramid EL. go figure because i know those are not supposed to be strong.

other than that one no other cuban has ever made me dizzy. not the BBF's, cazadores.......none of them.

Was caught off guard since the first third was non-descript.

H. Upmann Imperiales. THe thing tasted real smooth and not very "strong" but it took me for a loop. Like drinking 6 mojitos one after the other. I didnt realize how strong it was until I couldnt remember my name.

For me it was a cigar not mentioned here, a PSP2. I couldnt believe it cause it was so unexpected. I have been smoking Opus and 1926's for the last 5-10 years and never felt that kind of kick in the arse.

Last spring I had a Cohiba Siglo II Tubos that got me pretty buzzed. A long time ago I had a NC Partagas Limited Reserve that buzzed me big time. Normally it doesn't happen that often.

the Lito Gomez chisel I had a couple of months ago gave me a bit of a buzz, before that a Joya de Nicaragua that I had before breakfast (no research) thinking it would be along the of a AF chateau sg, the Joya almost knocked me off my feet:-)

One that I recall recently was a Partagas Seleccion Privada. I think it was strong but I had not had a cigar for three days which is very rare for me.
