I think its fair if I only count cigars that I’ve had double digits of, considering that criteria...

This was my first thought too. I've had a number over a number of different boxes/years/codes. They're just great. E2s are another one I've thought of too.

As I am learning the culinary side of cigars, I’d love to hear what @El Presidente and @Ken Gargett would choose as their 'never had a bad one cigar/cigars'.

It would be nice for me to have a little list of the ones that are great so I don’t spend any $ on duds in my learning phase. Just to build a good base of flavour profiled vs. brand.

The two that come to my mind are BBFs (other than one box of aged 2001s that I bought and which clearly not been stored well) and Lusis. Probably Esplendidos as well. The 4 or 5 boxes I’ve had of those over the years were always great. I’ve had a number of bad ones, but they were always singles, almost always given to me and always of questionable providence.
