HoyoDC Posted June 24 Posted June 24 What do you think is the hardest cigar to find now. I believe Punch DC has become an elusive ghost even on BR. What is yours? 1

HoyoDC Posted June 24 Author Posted June 24 That is another great one. Are they not being produced or just in small quantities for a few preferred markets?

zacca Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Agree with both of the above. I’ll also add Sir Winston and LGC MdO4. 3
LizardGizmo Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Have ERdM Choix Supreme come up at all? If they have, I’ve missed it. 3

To be honest the hardest thing to find for me was an Opus X DC. Took me 7 years to get my hands on one. Easier to get now but that was harder for me than anything in the Cuban world ever. Weird how it works. Otherwise haven't seen H.Upmann Sir Winston or 50 cabs of Partagas Lusis in a while, even on grey sites. 3
Nohiba Posted June 24 Posted June 24 One marca that I have yet to try is Fonseca, and based off what I’ve read, the No.1 is the one to go for. I don’t think I’ve ever seen them in the wild.
Ford2112 Posted June 24 Posted June 24 Party 898 are like bigfoot. The last box I smoked was a 2018. I got a few Punch DC recently but they were singles from a private seller. Good luck finding a box. Same with Sir Winnies. Seems like all my favorites have to be the white whales. 4
JohnS Posted June 24 Posted June 24 The more difficult-to-roll cigars have been in hiatus for a little while now, unfortunately, such as the Por Larranaga Montecarlos and La Gloria Cuban Medaille d'Or No.4. 3 1

I was thinking the same some weeks ago but i found some boxes at a Casa surprisingly! From the active Cuban portfolio i will say 3 of them 1) Partagas 898 (even i have seen some boxes dated 2025 around never found in any shop) 2) Por Larranaga Montecarlos (cannot find any box date on 2025) 3) Sancho Panza Non Plus (cannot find any box date on 2025). 3
Mike Mecklenburg Posted June 24 Posted June 24 La Gloria Cuban Medaille d'Or No.4, never had one, still looking. 4
joeypots Posted June 24 Posted June 24 I don't even look anymore. Where I am the hardest cigar to source is any one I want. 2 2 2

Yvan told me he's offered a few boxes twice a year by the Coprova, just like the biggest retailers in Paris, A la Civette and Le Lotus. I don't believe they've seen a single one in the last 8-10 months though. The hardest cigar to find right now, besides that 898... Tough question, they're all hard to find but I'd say PL Montecarlos, LGC MdO N°4, Fonseca N°1, QdO Corona Claro, Punch DC and I only mention those I'm actively looking for. 😮💨 4
Popular Post Puros Y Vino Posted June 25 Popular Post Posted June 25 Monte A's and Sir Winnies are HTF even during good times. 7
VasileDulap Posted June 25 Posted June 25 Since I started smoking cigars in January '21 I wasn’t able to find a single LGC Medaille d’Or No. 4. 1 2
Namisgr11 Posted June 25 Posted June 25 I bought a handful of Sir Winston's in early '24. Haven't seen either singles or a box for sale since. 3
