Guinness, hands down. Nitro cans will do fine, particularly in warmer weather.  But the king of all Guinness is the Foreign Extra Stout. @El Presidente you turned me on to the greatness of a Negr

I agree with this statement from Bill Hayes and do enjoy German lagers in the summer time with my cigars. I like Rolling Rock (pale ale lager) with lighter, mild strength cigars and choose German Paul

Smithwicks goes great with cigars and a close second in my opinion is Guinness. Really like German pilsners as well with cigars when it is quite warm out. Avoid IPA’s which generally shouldn’t be dran

Whoa...kindred spirits on here! Nothing like a good cigar, beer, and cranking up Scream Bloody Gore.

I will second the root beer and the Guinness, and would also add Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest Marzen.

Guinness. But my favorite pairing with cigars is my favorite root beer from Sprecher.

Guinness Draught, Bass Ale, or Newcastle (if you can still get it).

N/A would be my first choice, like one of the amazing sours from Untitled Art or a gose from Partake or Athletic. Michelob N/A is also not bad, it's kind of a nothing burger without complexity, but it is cold and crisp and refreshing to the palate. It will do, especially in the summer heat. With some of the stouter NW sticks, Goose Island Bourbon Country barrel aged stout. I have not yet found a N/A stout that delivers the depth of flavor I like in that type of beer. There are some full octane gose beers that also pair well, Anderson Valley does some good ones.

Man used to I love root beer. One of the most annoying parts about being in China is ordering something like that is basically impossible.

We're stuck with 沙士 (Shāshì) - sarsaparilla flavour, which is honestly not horrendous, but not the same thing.

Like some of the others here, I don’t drink much beer, but I do enjoy a nice cold Pilsner Urquell when is hot and a Guinness when it’s cold.

I think anything less hoppy the better. Too many IBU’s kill any nuances for me.

I prefer a quality spirit, but if I'm going to drink beer, it's got to be a Guinness. Pairs well with most cigars in my opinion.

Haha, made me nostalgic of my childhood in HK with the Sarsie shout out. Also, you’ll find Barq’s and A&W on 淘宝.
